AMADOR BIOSCIENCE Announces the Grand Opening of Its Renovated Office and Bioanalytical and Biomarker Laboratory in Germantown, Maryland, USA.Spanning over 10,000 square feet, the laboratory features functional platforms for Ligand-Binding Assay (LBA), Cell-Based Assay (CBA), Molecular Biology Assay (MBA), Flow Cytometry, LC/MS, and sample management. Equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation, it provides bioanalysis and biomarker analysis services for various innovative therapeutic modalities in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Amador Bioscience held an internal celebration for the opening of its Phase I laboratory in Maryland on July 21 (Eastern Time). Attendees included executives from Amador US and Amador Europe, A2PG executives, and distinguished guests such as Dr. Rakesh Dixit, Former Global Vice President of Toxicology and Pathology at AstraZeneca and Scientific Advisor to Amador Bioscience; Dr. Hui Feng, Executive Director and COO of Junshi Biosciences; Dr. Patrick Liu, Founder and President of ClariGene; Dr. Xiaobin Zhao, Founder and President of Haichang Bio; Dr. Ping Cui, Senior Vice President of Coyote Pharmaceuticals; and Dr. Jiaqi Huang, Senior Vice President of CytoNiche Biotechnology.

On the same day, AMADOR BIOSCIENCE also signed an agreement for the expansion of its Maryland laboratory. Upon completion of the Phase II laboratory in the first quarter of 2023, the total area will exceed 20,000 square feet.

Rafiq Islam, Vice President of AMADOR Bioscience’s Maryland laboratory, and his team introduced the laboratory’s setup, management processes, and service offerings to the guests.The laboratory has introduced the latest instruments and equipment, such as the MSD S600 for high-sensitivity immunoassays, the CytoFLEX and Aurora for flow cytometry analysis, and the SCIEX Triple Quad 6500+ for precise quantitative mass spectrometry detection., he stated: “The laboratory complies with GLP/GCLP standards. Leveraging state-of-the-art facility systems and a team of experienced scientists, AMADOR BIOSCIENCE is able to provide industry-leading, high-quality bioanalysis and biomarker services, significantly enhancing its capacity to support global new drug development.”

Amador Bioscience’s Maryland laboratory is now operational and has begun analyzing large-molecule biological samples, with its grand opening ceremony scheduled for September. The company’s laboratory in Pleasanton, located in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, is currently under intensive construction and is expected to become operational in two months. Earlier this year, Amador Bioscience completed and put into use a 70,000-square-foot laboratory in Hangzhou, China. The company is also commencing laboratory construction in Belgium, and we anticipate good news from this venture in the near future.
