“Hisense Medical’s convoy of epidemic prevention supplies for Dingxi City, depart!” At the command of Zhao Bing, Deputy Director of the Qingdao Rural Revitalization Bureau, trucks fully loaded with epidemic prevention materials set off from the Hisense R&D Center, embarking on a journey of nearly 1,800 kilometers to Dingxi. On July 28, the departure ceremony for Hisense Medical’s donation of epidemic prevention supplies to Dingxi was held in Qingdao. Hisense Medical donated epidemic prevention supplies worth RMB 2.62 million to Dingxi City, including six negative-pressure ambulances and 16 nucleic acid sampling workstations, contributing to the normalization of local epidemic prevention and control efforts and the improvement of local medical conditions.

Zhao Bing, Deputy Director of the Qingdao Rural Revitalization Bureau; Xu Jianwei, Director of the Counterpart Assistance Division of the Qingdao Rural Revitalization Bureau; Chen Weiqiang, Senior Vice President of Hisense Group; and Su Yutao, General Manager of Qingdao Hisense Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. attended the departure ceremony.
In 2021, Qingdao established a paired assistance relationship with Dingxi City in Gansu Province. As an enterprise that grew up in Qingdao, Hisense also actively participated in this collaboration. At the ceremony, Chen Weiqiang introduced that warmth and trust are the hallmarks of Hisense. While achieving rapid development, Hisense has never forgotten to give back to society and has made multiple donations of various supplies to areas affected by the pandemic. To support local epidemic prevention and control efforts and actively fulfill its social responsibilities, Hisense Medical decided to donate additional supplies to Dingxi City, including ambulances and nucleic acid sampling stations.
Part of the epidemic prevention supplies witnessed at the dispatch ceremony departed from Qingdao on the same day, traveling 1,800 kilometers to Dingxi. The remaining supplies will be shipped subsequently to support local improvements in emergency care conditions and the implementation of epidemic prevention measures.

The healthcare industry is one of the key strategic directions for Hisense’s transformation from a “home appliance company” to a “high-tech company.” The Group has always placed high expectations on the development of its healthcare sector, providing substantial support in terms of funding, resources, and policies. Since its establishment in 2014, Hisense Medical has been committed to present-day operations while looking toward the future, continuously developing high-end medical equipment and solutions such as color Doppler ultrasound systems, medical-grade monitors, and digital operating rooms, gradually building influence and reputation within the industry. In particular, with strong support from Shandong Province’s First-Set (Major Technical Equipment) Benchmark Demonstration Project, Hisense’s color Doppler ultrasound products have been well adopted by primary healthcare institutions in Qingdao.
Chen Weiqiang stated that, in the future, Hisense Group and Hisense Medical will continue to work hand in hand under the leadership of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal People’s Government, to create a model project for primary healthcare collaboration between eastern and western regions, contribute to enhancing primary healthcare service capabilities, and support local industrial development and rural revitalization.
