Recently, Dami and Xiaomi, a service provider for children with autism spectrum disorders and pervasive developmental disorders, completed a Series D financing round amounting to tens of millions of US dollars. Shenzhen Fumi Health Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as “Dami and Xiaomi”) was founded in September 2014. It is a service platform dedicated to the rehabilitation of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and pervasive developmental disorders (PDD). The platform brings together top-tier domestic and international experts in child rehabilitation, child education, behavioral development pediatrics, and psychology. It has developed the RICE rehabilitation intervention system, which possesses complete independent intellectual property rights. Dami and Xiaomi provides integrated services for children on the autism spectrum and those with developmental disorders, including rehabilitation interventions, inclusive education support, home-based guidance, parent training, and popular science consultations.

Over the nearly eight years since its establishment, the company has opened more than 30 RICE rehabilitation centers in 14 major cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Nanjing, Dongguan, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Foshan, Suzhou, and Changsha. It serves tens of thousands of children with autism annually, currently employs over 1,000 homegrown rehabilitation therapists, and boasts the largest peer group of nearly 100 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), speech therapists, and occupational therapists.

Furthermore, Dami and Xiaomi has accumulated a substantial volume of rehabilitation and sociological data on children with autism. Building on this foundation, the company has assembled a multidisciplinary team spanning autism rehabilitation, internet technology, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to develop an intervention and rehabilitation system tailored for children with autism and developmental disorders. In October 2019, Dami and Xiaomi launched its proprietary RICE rehabilitation system, which focuses on improving core social deficits in children with autism. The system has been continuously upgraded and refined to enable broader access to professional, evidence-based rehabilitation interventions. Currently, Dami and Xiaomi collaborates with numerous experts and research institutions in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong (China), and Taiwan (China), and has initiated joint programs with multiple universities in mainland China to cultivate specialized professionals.
