So, what exactly has Yingkang Life done right?

Meeting User Needs: Exploring New Development Models through Digitalization in the Health Industry

It is reported that the conference was jointly organized by the China Association for Plant Engineering, the Academy of Economic Management under the Ministry of Machine Building Industry, and the Qingdao Municipal People’s Government. The event focused on high-end medical devices, the bioeconomy, the health and elderly care industry and equipment, as well as digital innovation and development in the health sector, featuring multiple thematic forums and roundtable discussions.

At the conference, Wang Wenfu pointed out: "In the digital era, digitalization serves people, with human-centricity as its core principle. In practical applications, this is achieved through integrated hardware and software IoT scenario-based solutions aimed at empowering individuals, serving their needs, enhancing their value, and fostering mutual trust."

Currently, China firmly holds its position as the world’s second-largest economy, with per capita national income exceeding $10,000. The material needs of the population have been largely met, while the scope and depth of their aspirations for a better life continue to expand, accompanied by an increasingly strong desire for healthy living. How can we meet the growing health demands of the people? Yingkang Life is actively promoting the deep integration and application of digital technology with the broader health industry, leveraging digitalization in the health sector to address diverse health needs and forging a distinctive path of development.

As a globally leading health and wellness ecosystem brand, Yingkang Life focuses on biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare services. It deeply integrates digital technologies—such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and 5G—with new healthcare infrastructure, medical services, intelligent rehabilitation, and elderly care scenarios. Centered on users’ health needs, it provides comprehensive, full-lifecycle health services covering prevention, diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and wellness.

In terms of new digital healthcare infrastructure, Yingkang Life focuses on scenarios of widespread concern to families, industries, and society, such as vaccination, blood safety, sample management, and smart laboratory safety. Leveraging its listed subsidiary, Haier Biomedical, it integrates digital technologies into the two major domains of life sciences and medical innovation, establishing five key digital healthcare support systems: the Blood Network, Vaccine Network, Pharmaceutical Network, Sample Network, and Smart Laboratory Network, thereby safeguarding people’s health and safety.

In the fields of medical devices and healthcare services, Yingkang Yisheng leverages its subsidiaries—including Masep, Sichuan Friendship Hospital, Shanghai Yongci Rehabilitation Hospital, and Yingkang Yisheng Internet Hospital—along with IoT technology and its own digital empowerment capabilities. Centered on the development of “One Hospital,” “One Network,” and “One Platform,” it provides users with precise and customized health diagnosis, treatment, and management services. This enables the public to access high-quality medical care close to home, thereby ensuring the accessibility of top-tier medical resources.

Shouldering the Responsibility of the Era: Leading High-Quality Industry Development Through the Clustered Growth of Health Industrial Clusters

The 14th Five-Year Plan proposes making the promotion of high-quality development its central theme. Vigorously developing the broader health industry is an intrinsic requirement for advancing high-quality development and creating a high-quality life. How can we accelerate the high-quality development of the broader health industry? The Outline of the “Healthy China 2030” Plan provides guidance on the direction and approach: building a number of well-known brands and fostering healthy service industry clusters with virtuous cycles.

In the recently released “Top 500 Most Valuable Chinese Brands” list by World Brand Lab, Yingkang Life has once again made the list, becoming the only “big health industry ecosystem brand” to appear for two consecutive years, innovating the big health service system with a new paradigm of ecosystem branding. Meanwhile, leveraging ecosystem-chain thinking, platform thinking, and open thinking, Yingkang Life promotes the convergent alignment of the “innovation chain, ecosystem chain, capital chain, talent chain, application chain, and enterprise chain,” establishing itself in Shandong Province and extending its reach across China to build a big health service industry cluster. It is reported that since 2019, Yingkang Life has successively established the Biosafety Smart Science and Technology Innovation Park, the Life Sciences and Medical Innovation Park, and the Haier Big Health (Yingkang Life) Medical Device Digital-Intelligent Ecosystem Park in the Qingdao High-Tech Zone, where this conference was held, thereby creating pathways for high-quality development through clustered growth.

Cluster-based development is the cause, while solution-led advancement is the effect. This conference selected and centrally promoted technological innovation projects in fields such as medical equipment, the bioeconomy, the health and elderly care industry, digitalization of the health sector, industrial internet, new energy, and intelligent technology. Haier Biomedical, under the Yingkang Yisheng umbrella, showcased its latest solutions, including the Smart Blood Network, Smart Vaccine Network, and Smart Laboratory. Meanwhile, Yingkang Life prominently exhibited high-end oncology treatment equipment, such as Gamma Knife systems and hyperthermia machines, earning high recognition from experts and industry participants at the event.

To date, Yingkang Life’s products and solutions have reached more than 160 countries and regions worldwide, with its digital healthcare infrastructure solutions adopted across 33 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in China. Meanwhile, Mars Gamma Knife, a device with independent intellectual property rights under the Yingkang Life umbrella, has achieved the highest installation base in China and has been successfully exported to the United States, Vietnam, Turkey, Morocco, and other countries, breaking the long-standing monopoly held by overseas enterprises.

Listed companies serve as a “barometer” of economic development. As Yi Huiman, Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), has stated, the current period and the foreseeable future remain a strategic window of opportunity for the high-quality development of listed companies. The inclusion of two listed companies in the Listed Company Value Rankings exemplifies Yingkang Life’s outstanding contribution to the high-quality development of the broader health industry. By leveraging digital technology to lead industry sectors and fostering an open industrial ecosystem to drive health scenario-based solutions, Yingkang Life’s innovative development is spearheading new trends in China’s high-end medical equipment manufacturing and broader health industry.
