Sironax’s R&D pipeline comprises multiple projects focused on the pathogenic mechanisms of age-related degenerative diseases, including programmed cell death, neuroprotective pathways, and neuroinflammation. Sironax plans to allocate the raised funds toward the clinical development of its receptor-interacting protein kinase 1 (RIPK1) inhibitor, further expand its R&D scale and pipeline, and develop various potential best-in-class or first-in-class drug candidates for age-related degenerative diseases.

Dr. Gang Ren, CEO of Sironaxstated: “We are delighted to have secured support from top-tier investors, enabling us to realize our vision of delivering transformative therapies to patients worldwide who are severely affected by degenerative diseases. Building on a series of breakthrough scientific discoveries, including much of the work conducted by our co-founder, Dr. Wang Xiaodong, Sironax has established a robust and novel R&D pipeline targeting multiple key signaling pathways involved in the pathogenesis of degenerative diseases, encompassing both small-molecule chemical drugs and large-molecule biologics. With this round of financing, we will continue to advance our current clinical-stage projects and are confident in progressing additional R&D programs into clinical trials.”

Dr. Huang Xiao, Managing Director of YF Capital“The deepening global aging trend has led to a growing demand for treatments for degenerative diseases. Over the past two decades, Dr. Wang Xiaodong has dedicated himself to the study of programmed cell death, making innovative discoveries in the mechanisms underlying aging and degenerative diseases, thereby laying a solid academic foundation for Sironax’s R&D efforts. YF Capital looks forward to establishing a long-term partnership with Dr. Wang Xiaodong, Dr. Ren Gang, and the Sironax team. We firmly believe that the company will achieve breakthrough progress in the field of age-related degenerative diseases in the future.”

Project Lead at Gaorong Venturesstated, “As the scientific community’s understanding of degenerative diseases deepens, clinical and therapeutic needs in this field are increasingly growing. As a rapidly growing clinical-stage company, Sironax has established a robust R&D pipeline in the area of degenerative diseases, demonstrating excellent safety profiles and signals of potential efficacy in early-stage clinical trials. We are delighted to collaborate with the Sironax team to support the advancement of its degenerative disease pipeline, thereby benefiting patients worldwide and improving their quality of life.”
