SATOL Launches Inaugural Session Featuring TestOneLife's Insights on Home-Based Precision Micro-Diagnostics

Aug 18, 2022 16:37 CST Updated 16:37

2022 marked the third year of implementing the Healthy China Action strategy, and promoting the shift from a “disease-treatment-centered” approach to a “people’s health-centered” approach is a key focus and practice across the entire health industry.

Precision medical testing technologies have garnered significant attention since their inception, owing to the boundless possibilities they demonstrate in various application fields. Home-based precision micro-testing further emphasizes the home setting, enabling tests that were previously confined to hospitals to be conducted more conveniently and rapidly without compromising accuracy—specifically, by collecting samples at home and completing the analysis via cloud-based testing. Whether it is the rapidly emerging home genetic testing industry or the increasingly prevalent home-based early cancer screening sector coming into the spotlight, both adopt a lightweight and convenient approach. This has shattered traditional perceptions of medical testing and introduced new solutions for the early screening, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.

On August 25, SATOL, a public welfare platform initiated by the World Life Science and Technology Conference, announced that it would join forces with Yisheng Jiankang, an innovative enterprise in life science and technology, to co-host the first episode of its online live broadcast series titled “Innovation and Leapfrog Development in Home-Based Precision Micro-Testing in the Era of Big Health.” The event will focus on home-based precision micro-testing technologies and features distinguished speakers including Dr. Zhou Jianhong, Chief Physician of Gynecology at the Women’s Hospital School of Medicine Zhejiang University, doctoral supervisor, one of the founders of the Chinese Branch of the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology, and Chair of the Menopause Healthcare Committee of the China Maternal and Child Health Association; Professor Yang Weiping, an expert in the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) field, specially appointed professor at the Liver Disease Research Center of Capital Medical University, and Chief Scientist at Yisheng Jiankang; and Mr. Wang Qiangyu, former Vice President of Alibaba DingTalk, as well as Founder and CEO of Yisheng Jiankang. Together, they will comprehensively explore how to integrate internet technologies to establish a closed-loop service system for ovarian health management throughout women’s entire life cycles.
