Intel AI Practice DayThis is a series of AI practice shares produced by Intel, covering everything from the cloud to the edge, and from general-purpose CPUs to heterogeneous XPUs. The series is carefully crafted by Intel's technical experts, who serve as guest speakers and select classic design and optimization cases from real-world applications as blueprints. The content is designed with the aim of sharing and popularizing practical, commercially viable AI solutions, helping the industry realize the vision of ubiquitous AI.

Topic Introduction
▶ Topic 1: High-Throughput and Ultra-Long Sequence Protein Structure Determination Based on Intel-AlphaFold2 – Yang Wei
Leveraging the advantages of AVX-512’s wide vector processing and terabyte-scale memory support, Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors enhance AlphaFold2 in two key areas:
1. High-throughput inference optimization on a single node can be achieved for short sequences, accelerating the process of structural analysis in proteomics;
2. Capable of predicting ultra-long samples exceeding 4,000 amino acids, thereby expanding the scope of protein structure exploration by AlphaFold2.

Yang Wei, AI Solutions Architect at Intel. Holds a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Peking University; previously conducted sleep research assisted by ML/DL models in Professor Yi Rao’s laboratory. Currently provides pre-sales technical support for AI and GPU solutions at Intel.

Guo Chenguang, Medical Product Director at Beijing Xiaobai Century Network Technology Co., Ltd., holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Capital Medical University and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Tongji University. Previously served as Product Director at Natong Medical Group and Operations Director at Qingying Medical Group, with over ten years of experience in medical device product management.
