Three Major Projects Propel High-Quality Development of Bazhou’s Health Industry in Banan, Chongqing

On August 15, the Cloud Signing Ceremony for Strategic Cooperation on Major Health Industry Projects in Banan District, Chongqing Municipality, was grandly held. Cooperation agreements were signed respectively with Shulan Healthcare Management Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Huazhuo Information Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Digital Medical and Health Technology Research Institute, jointly promoting the high-quality development of the major health industry in Banan District.

Under the Healthy China strategy, new industries, new formats, and new models in health are constantly emerging and expanding. As an emerging sector with immense potential, the big health industry has become a new engine for economic development under the new normal.

It is reported that in recent years, Banan District has attached great importance to the development of the big health industry, holding multiple rounds of discussions with Shulan Healthcare Management Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Huazhuo Information Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Digital Medical and Health Technology Research Institute, thereby reaching a strong consensus on cooperation.

Attendees of the signing ceremony included He Yousheng, Secretary of the Banan District Committee of Chongqing Municipality; Jia Hui, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Mayor; Zhu Jiyang, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the District People’s Government, and Director of the District Big Health Office; Li Lanjuan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Zheng Jie, CEO of Shulan Medical Management Co., Ltd.; Li Tanwei, CEO of Hangzhou Huazhuo Information Technology Co., Ltd.; and Liao Ying, representative of the Zhejiang Digital Medical and Health Technology Research Institute, among other relevant officials.

Industrial development requires long-term planning and a strong foundation. In his address at the signing ceremony, He Yousheng, Secretary of the Banan District Committee of the Communist Party of China, stated that since the 19th National Congress of the CPC, Banan District has thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on building a Healthy China, consistently prioritizing public health as a strategic priority. Centered on the Chongqing International Bio-City, the district is focusing on six key areas—biopharmaceuticals, medical services, health tourism, elderly care and leisure, fitness and wellness, and smart health management—to comprehensively establish a new pattern for the development of the broader health industry. In advancing the high-end and digital transformation of healthcare, Banan District has been committed to seeking robust partnerships.

Jia Hui, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Mayor, presided over the signing ceremony. He stated that this signing represents one of the significant landmark achievements in Banan District’s efforts to promote the high-quality development of the big health industry. It will empower the district to accelerate the establishment of a standardized disease management system, advance the digitalization of medical healthcare, and build a new highland for the development of the big health industry, thereby further enhancing the quality of health supply and service levels in Banan District.

With the advent of the digital era, the healthcare industry is undergoing significant transformation. Seizing this opportunity, Banan District has accelerated the development of informatization, intelligence, and digitalization in healthcare, in accordance with the overall strategic framework and planning for the big health industry. Chongqing Bazhou Cultural Tourism Industry Group and Huazhuo Technology have reached a consensus. Leveraging the pervasive, diffusive, and disruptive advantages of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and big data within the big health sector, Huazhuo will engage in in-depth practices in building medical imaging cloud platforms and providing cloud film operational services, as well as in developing the Banan District Smart Healthcare Service Platform and advancing healthcare informatization. These efforts aim to enhance smart healthcare services for public welfare and safeguard people’s life and health.

Meanwhile, Shulan Healthcare has proposed the “Standardized Disease Management Center,” focusing on enhancing disciplinary capabilities, medical quality, and service standards to accelerate the aggregation of talent, technology, management, and other key resources of Shulan Healthcare Group in Banan District. Empowered by Huazhuo’s technology, a digital-intelligent healthcare ecosystem is being built to provide the public with standardized disease management services covering the whole person and the entire care continuum, thereby promoting greater development of healthcare services in Banan District.
