On August 29, members of the “Rongchang-Boyi” Excellence Program for Medical Students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (hereinafter referred to as the “Boyi Program”) held a seminar with representatives from Lianren Health Medical Big Data Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Lianren Health”). The seminar was themed “Smart Healthcare, Safeguarding Health: Exploring the Development Model of Internet Hospitals under Normalized Epidemic Prevention and Control.” Attendees included Cheng Guming, General Manager of the Marketing Department at Lianren Health; Zhou Hongbing, Deputy General Manager of the Human Resources Department; and colleagues from relevant departments within the Medical Technology Division and the General Affairs Division.

A delegation from the “Boyi Plan” team of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine visited the corporate exhibition hall of Lianren Health and spoke highly of the company’s founding background and industry influence. Subsequently, members of the “Boyi Plan” team engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives of Lianren Health on internet hospital-related businesses. They explored the advantages and limitations of internet hospital development under the new normal of pandemic prevention and control, and gained insights into the competitive strengths of Lianren Health’s key products as well as the implementation and construction status of its internet hospital system services.

Bian Jinguo, Head of Product for the Healthcare Technology Division at Lianren Health, introduced to the “Boyi Plan” team members a case study on the construction of an “Internet Hospital” through Lianren Health’s collaboration with Fudan University’s Top 100 Representative Hospitals in China: jointly established with China-Japan Friendship Hospital, the National Telemedicine and Internet Medicine Center has successfully facilitated in-depth cooperation in telemedicine, internet-based healthcare, and medical education. Lianren Health continues to advance the development and operation of projects including the National Telemedicine Collaboration Platform, the Internet Hospital of China-Japan Friendship Hospital, the Telemedicine Education Platform, Remote Collaborative Care for Critical and Severe Cases in Beijing Maternal and Child Health Hospitals, and the Demonstration System for Integrated Applications of Precision Medicine. Together with domestic experts and scholars, Lianren Health is exploring the application of new healthcare service models in the “Internet+” environment.
Cheng Guming, General Manager of the Marketing Department, stated, “Leveraging its own strengths, Lianren Health is assisting hospitals in upgrading their information systems and accelerating the development of smart healthcare. Under continuous regulatory policies across all provinces, the industry is gradually entering a mature stage. In-depth, specialized development has become an inevitable trend for the internet hospital sector. Meanwhile, it is essential to continuously refine its operational model to play a more significant role within the national healthcare system.”
