It is reported that this charitable public welfare initiative will be rolled out nationwide, with its launch in Shanghai as the first stop. The project will provide and install commercial reverse osmosis (RO) direct drinking water dispensers free of charge at relevant elderly care institutions and community-based elderly service centers across eight sub-districts in Hongkou District, Shanghai, thereby enhancing the safety and quality of drinking water for these facilities and the local senior population. Elderly residents in these institutions and communities will gain free access to high-quality purified water, improving their quality of life, while also raising awareness among the general public, seniors, and their families about the importance of healthy hydration. Subsequently, the campaign will be successively implemented in multiple cities across China, including Nanjing and Suzhou in Jiangsu Province, Hefei in Anhui Province, Chengdu in Sichuan Province, and Nanning in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
