
To promote the interdisciplinary and industrial integration of medicine, facilitate in-depth exploration and understanding of medicine by enterprises, investors, and multidisciplinary professionals, and jointly drive innovation in the medical industry, this initiative is guided by the Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute, led by the Global Health Industry Innovation Center of Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute, and supported by China Construction Bank Beijing Branch and CCB Training Center (Beijing).“Healthcare Industry Innovation Leadership Program” – Providing leaders in the medical innovation sector with comprehensive and accelerated opportunities to study medicine, while understanding it from the perspectives of medical innovation and translation.
“The Pilot Program” will commence on October 29, 2022,This program invites experts from top-tier (Grade 3A) hospitals in Beijing, specializing in clinical practice, scientific research, and medical-engineering translation. The curriculum focuses on the theory and practice, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, neurology, gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, hematology, and orthopedics. To help participants gain a deeper understanding of medicine, the program incorporates supportive modules that provide a comprehensive analysis of the entire industry chain, including global healthcare trends, breakthroughs in medical innovation, interdisciplinary medical-engineering translation, financial and capital support, and upstream-downstream industrial integration. To offer members firsthand experience of real-world medical settings, the program includes practical components such as hands-on medical training and the “Into Medical Innovation” corporate visit module.

The curriculum integrates the medical education frameworks of leading global medical institutions, with over 60 renowned experts from Beijing’s top-tier (Grade 3A) hospitals delivering specialized knowledge in an accessible manner. This approach equips participants with essential knowledge in medical diagnosis and treatment while cultivating professional medical analytical reasoning.
● Professional and Practical—Classic Content, Multidimensional Format
The course content is organized by organ systems, covering dimensions such as basic medicine, clinical diagnosis and treatment, and hands-on clinical practice. It encompasses topics including pathogenesis, clinical diagnosis and therapy, and emerging interdisciplinary frontier technologies—through “in-person lectures, case analysis, and practical training.”
● “Industry-Academia-Research” Dialogue – Deepening Resources, Cross-Boundary Collaboration
The project encompasses multidisciplinary intersections in medicine, integrating medical science, engineering, and translational research to establish a platform for exchange and collaboration, thereby creating a new model of innovation and translation for members and mentors.
● Immersive Medical Experience — Practical Drills for Applied Learning
Establish practical medical teaching modules, guiding members in the operation of advanced medical devices, interpretation of biochemical data and imaging metrics, and simulation of cutting-edge techniques in coronary artery intervention.
● Medical Innovation Ecosystem Tour—Corporate Visits to Pool Wisdom and Synergize Efforts
Lead members to visit benchmark enterprises at the forefront of medical device technology innovation, large international healthcare corporations, and medical innovation R&D centers, providing on-site observation of the operational processes of pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.

Project Duration:October 29, 2022 (subject to the admission notice), one-year program, once a month, two days per session.
Venue:Global Health Industry Innovation Center of Tsinghua University Institute of Industrial Research, practical teaching visit enterprises, etc.
Instruction Format:Intensive lectures and group-based exploratory research, with a focus on medical theory and clinical practice. Deepen the understanding of medicine through frontier technologies, translational coursework and practice, and visits to innovative enterprises.

Global Health Industry Innovation Center
Global Healthcare Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as “GHIC”), initiated and established by the Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute (hereinafter referred to as “Tsinghua IRI”), aims to connect global medical innovation technologies and resources, strengthen the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, facilitate the effective implementation and development of innovative technologies in medical devices, diagnostics, and services, and provide comprehensive support for early- to mid-stage projects.
GHIC focuses on hard-tech healthcare projects, spanning fields such as therapeutics, diagnostics, testing, rehabilitation, artificial intelligence, medical robotics, chips, and medical materials.
