Yunling Future: Huazhuo Empowers Shiqian County People's Hospital in Comprehensive Digital Transformation

At the meeting, Chen Daiming, General Manager of the Huazhuo Delivery Center and overall project leader, along with Project Manager Zhang Pengfei, provided a detailed introduction to the go-live procedures, support measures for the launch, and the specific implementation plan.

Since September 13, the Huazhuo Technology Special Task Force has been stationed at the hospital for centralized operations, strictly implementing and advancing the work in accordance with the hospital’s informatization construction plan.

Huazhuo Special Task Force Demonstrates the System Validation Process to Hospital Leadership and Department Directors

To date, the hospital has fully transitioned all outpatient and inpatient services to the new system and has conducted orderly departmental training. Going forward, physicians will be able to efficiently complete electronic medical record (EMR) documentation while simultaneously listening to patients’ chief complaints and inquiring about their medical history and medication experiences. The new outpatient system provides various templates and rapid data reference features, which “can replace approximately 70% of the original data entry workload,” stated a physician who underwent the training.

During the trial operation period at Shiqian County People’s Hospital, Ren Chao, Chief Accountant and executive in charge of informatization, stated, “Since the launch of the new system, there has been a significant reduction in patient queues at service windows for registration, payment, and report collection. This has effectively shortened patients’ non-clinical waiting time, optimized clinical workflows, and freed up the hospital’s Information Department to focus more on communicating business requirements.”

President Jing Yong further stated that as the hospital-wide information systems are progressively rolled out, Shiqian County People’s Hospital will continue to strengthen its digital application infrastructure, drive the development of a smart hospital integrating “clinical care, services, and management,” and strive toward the goal of becoming a modern comprehensive hospital characterized by standardization, intelligence, and digitalization.
