In recent years, clinical research and trials in China’s innovative oncology drug industry have witnessed robust growth. Data show that in 2015, the total number of core clinical trials for innovative drugs conducted in China, the United States, Europe, and Japan was 1,091, with China accounting for only 9.3%. By 2021, although the total number had slightly increased to 1,122, China’s share rose significantly to 354 trials, representing 31.6% of the total.[8].
