On May 21, Yifang Health Valley officially opened. As the first specialized pharmaceutical and health industrial park in Beijing’s Sub-Center, it has been formally included as a key project in the “14th Five-Year Plan for Technological Innovation in the Sub-Center.”. The project is located in the core area of Huoxian Cultural Health Town, adjacent to the new site of the Beijing Municipal Government, with convenient transportation surrounded by expressways. The park consists of 20 buildings, which have been fully completed and are open for investment promotion.Catering to diverse operational scenarios, including headquarters offices, clean R&D facilities, small-scale and pilot trials, assembly and production, medical institutions, and health and elderly care services., and features a range of amenities including talent apartments, dining options, supermarkets, and fitness and leisure facilities。“Lingfu Bio,” a research service platform covering the entire industry chain of laboratory animals and animal models, has been introduced. It joins professional platforms and leading enterprises represented by Ottobock, a century-old German company and the hidden champion in the global prosthetics and orthotics sector. Additionally, dozens of small and medium-sized enterprises involved in R&D testing, assembly and manufacturing, sales, and distribution have signed agreements to settle in the cluster.
Meanwhile, as the core cluster of the sub-center’s pharmaceutical and health industry agglomeration zone, the region’s industrial introduction is seizing opportunities for high-quality development,Surrounding Yifang Health Valley, professional resource institutions such as Peking University People’s Hospital, the National Center for Trauma Medicine, Beijing Health Vocational College, and the Tongzhou District Nursing Home have already clustered. Meanwhile, industry-leading listed companies, including Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals, Chunli Medical, and Fuyuan Pharmaceutical, have gathered in the area for development.
Yifang Health Valley is affiliated with the Zhongguancun Tongzhou Park. Enterprises settling in the park are eligible for benefits under the “Zhongguancun 1+5 Series Policies,” the “Tongzhou District’s Eight Preferential Policies,” the “Tongzhou District Measures to Strengthen Technological Innovation and Support High-Quality Development,” and the “Sub-Center’s Ten Measures to Encourage the Development of the Pharmaceutical and Health Industry.” The initiative prioritizes support in three key areas: medical-industrial collaboration, product innovation, and resource agglomeration, with maximum single-item rewards reaching up to RMB 30 million.
