This will further promote the modernization, informatization, and standardization of the TCM industry. Furthermore, the launch of this platform marks the deep integration of digitalization with the TCM industry, fostering coordinated development among upstream and downstream enterprises, optimizing industrial layout, driving rapid industry growth, and establishing a sustainable and replicable model for innovative development of primary-level TCM.”

As the first health and medical big data industry group in China featuring a model led by central state-owned enterprises (SOEs) with participation from local governments, financial institutions, and medical informatics companies—characterized by state-owned capital as the main body and market-oriented mechanisms—Lianren Health was deployed under the unified arrangement of the National Health Commission and supported by ministries including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. To address the challenges facing the development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) at the grassroots level, Lianren Health has established the Lianren Digital TCM Platform, which has been implemented in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian, Guangdong, and other regions, achieving remarkable results. By leveraging data empowerment and advanced technologies, the platform covers modules such as TCM heritage inheritance systems, traceability of Chinese herbal medicine quality, interpretation of health examination reports, construction of specialized disciplines and disease-specific programs, and internet hospitals. It constructs a closed-loop regional digital ecosystem for TCM, providing patients with a comprehensive solution covering the entire process and all scenarios, while also offering strong support for the sound development of TCM in the healthcare sector.
