First National Training Program for Biomedical Technology Transfer Managers (Intermediate Level) Now Open for Enrollment!

As a national benchmark for intellectual property and achievement transformation, West China Hospital of Sichuan University has ranked on the China Hospital Intellectual Property Ranking list for four consecutive years.No. 1 in China, and was also honored with the “"Sichuan Province Intellectual Property Market-Oriented Operation Demonstration Base"Title. And undertook the national scientific and technological achievement evaluation—““Improve the Intellectual Property Management Process for Major Science and Technology Projects”Pilot Tasks.

To further enhance the efficiency of technology transfer and commercialization, West China Hospital of Sichuan University has innovated its institutional mechanisms and jointly established with the governmentWestern Sichuan Medical Technology Transfer Center, and collaborate with relevant departments to carry out work on the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. To implement the key task outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan of “building specialized, market-oriented technology transfer institutions and a team of technology managers,” Sichuan Western Medical Technology Transfer Center has, for the first time, partnered with major domestic institutions focused on achievement commercialization to jointly cultivate a team of technology managers equipped with professional capabilities in intellectual property operations and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, thereby creatingBiopharmaceutical Technology Transfer Manager Training Course。

The inaugural “National Demonstration Training for Biomedical Technology Transfer Managers (Intermediate Level)” was guided by the China Society for Science and Technology Evaluation and Achievement Management and the National Center for Science and Technology Evaluation, supported by West China Hospital of Sichuan University, jointly organized by the Western China Medical Technology Transfer Center, the International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN), and the Beijing Wuzhou Integrated Innovation Industrial Strategy Research Institute, and coordinated by the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Exchange Center, the National Technology Transfer Southwest Center, the Tianfu International Technology Transfer Center, and VCBeat Chengguo Bureau. The program aims to establish a comprehensive system for training, examination, and certification in the specialized field of biomedicine.
