Guobao Life Insurance Launches “Gastric Care” Health Management ServiceGuobao Life Insurance has launched its “Gastric Care” health management service, marking a significant innovative practice in collaboration with Shuyu. Through this health management initiative, the company aims to continuously improve customers’ health outcomes and deliver more compassionate insurance services. The “Gastric Care” health management service includes: capsule gastroscopy, Helicobacter pylori testing, expert image interpretation, exclusive at-home examination services, and specialist follow-up consultations.

Gastric diseases are highly prevalent in China, as reflected by the folk saying “nine out of ten people suffer from stomach problems.” However, these conditions are often overlooked, delaying timely treatment. Gastric cancer ranks among the top three causes of cancer-related mortality. As a country with a high incidence of gastric cancer, China accounts for nearly half of the global cases and deaths associated with this disease. Data indicate that the five-year survival rate for early-stage gastric cancer can reach up to 90%. Nevertheless, due to low public awareness of gastric cancer and its screening, the early screening rate in China remains below 10%. Gastroscopy is considered the “gold standard” for diagnosing gastric diseases. The program utilizes the OMOM Magnetically Controlled Capsule Endoscopy system, a “National Independent Innovation Product” developed by Chongqing Jinshan Science & Technology. This examination is painless, non-invasive, free from cross-infection risks, and fully visualized; patients can comfortably complete the gastric examination simply by swallowing a capsule robot with water. To maximize convenience for clients, the product offers home visit services by specialists, and all image interpretations are performed by gastroenterology experts from local Grade A tertiary hospitals. This approach not only ensures the authority of the diagnostic reports but also facilitates subsequent diagnosis and treatment. Furthermore, each client is assigned a dedicated attending physician and health manager who provide one-on-one report interpretation and personalized health recommendations.
