Jim Swanson noted that while it is currently not feasible to directly use artificial intelligence to discover new products and bring them to market, Johnson & Johnson is leveraging this new technology to screen potential areas and identify promising compounds or biologics. Additionally, Johnson & Johnson is using artificial intelligence to streamline the preparation of documents submitted to regulatory authorities, cutting the traditional clinical trial report process from 700 hours to just 15 minutes.
