SuHuibao Launches 'Hui Shouhu' National Health Service Initiative with Official Inauguration of Suzhou People-Oriented Doctor Alliance and Suzhou Inclusive Health Alliance
On December 16, the press conference for the “Hui Shouhu” (Benefit Guardian) National Health Service Initiative of Su Huibao, alongside the launch ceremonies of the Suzhou Huimin Doctors Alliance and the Suzhou Puhui Health Alliance, was held in Suzhou. Attendees included Li Mei, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Dongwu Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Dongwu Life”); Li Bo, Director of the Urban Branch of the Suzhou Medical Security Bureau; Chen Jiafeng, Board Secretary of Dongwu Life and General Manager of its Health and Pension Insurance Division; Zeng Chunyang, Vice President of MedxHealth’s Kangfu Zhibao; and Professor Jiang Hua, Vice President of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University, among other renowned medical experts.

With the launch of the “Hui Shouhu” National Health Service Initiative, 12 accessible health services are being introduced to cover the entire lifespan and full health cycle. These services include convenient medical offerings such as general practitioner consultations, green-channel access to medical care, and direct payment for specialty drugs, as well as high-frequency health services for the elderly, including dental, ophthalmic, and hearing care. The initiative aims to expand service coverage and accessibility, thereby meeting the diversified needs of insured individuals.

To further strengthen the service capabilities of “Hui Shouhu,” the exclusive customer service system for Huiminbao (city-specific supplementary medical insurance) policyholders, Dongwu Life Insurance has partnered with Medbanks Health to launch the “Suzhou Huimin Doctor Alliance” and the “Suzhou Inclusive Health Alliance.” By integrating a high-quality physician network and localized health service resources, these initiatives empower “Hui Shouhu” to provide more comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, as well as convenient health benefits—including physical examinations, dental care, hearing services, and vaccinations—to the million-plus enrollees of “Su Huibao,” thereby creating a new gateway for inclusive health services.

Since its launch, the “Hui Shouhu” health services under “Su Huibao 2023” have provided policyholders with a range of offerings, including appointments for the 9-valent HPV vaccine, dental care, and medical checkups. These services have received consistent acclaim from policyholders for their affordable pricing and high quality. The establishment of the “Suzhou Huimin Doctors Alliance” and the “Suzhou Inclusive Health Alliance” will further enhance the convenience and inclusiveness of the “Hui Shouhu” service series, improve policyholders’ access to high-quality medical care, and contribute to the realization of the “Healthy China 2030” initiative.
It is reported that enrollment for “Su Hui Bao 2023” is drawing to a close, with over 1.2 million participants to date. Now in its fourth year, “Su Hui Bao 2023” has undergone continuous upgrades, offering up to RMB 5 million in health coverage. The number of covered specialty drugs has been expanded to 38, with an additional 75 overseas specialty drugs included, along with 12 items from the “Hui Shou Hu” series providing health services covering the entire life cycle.
