RNAi Drug Developer

As the molecule moves into clinical stages, Argo will receive milestone payments according to the exclusive license and cooperation agreement signed by both parties. This funding will be used to accelerate the ongoing development of the company’s siRNA pipeline products targeting both intrahepatic and extrahepatic indications.
BW-50218 is an siRNA therapeutic drug developed based on Argo's RADS™ platform. It utilizes a liver-targeted delivery system, enabling potent and long-lasting gene silencing with excellent safety. Leveraging this liver-targeted siRNA technology, Argo Biopharma is continuously advancing the development of its cardiovascular and rare disease pipelines while also expanding into multiple projects focused on extrahepatic targeting of various tissue types, covering a wide range of therapeutic areas.
The Phase I clinical trial (NCT07401472) of this drug is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single ascending dose study aimed at evaluating the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics following subcutaneous administration in healthy subjects. The study will clarify its pharmacological characteristics by monitoring safety parameters and biomarkers of biological activity, thereby providing a basis for subsequent clinical development.
