In terms of format, this seminar focuses on the practical implementation and application of digital therapeutics products.An Overview of the Policy and Industrial Frontiers in Digital Therapeutics, establishing a tripartite dialogue platform among government agencies, enterprises, and research institutes. The event consisted of four sessions, namely“Seminar on Innovative Application Scenarios for Digital Therapeutics,” “Seminar on Policy Interpretation and Corporate Implementation of Digital Therapeutics,” “Seminar on Hospital-Enterprise Collaboration in Digital Therapeutics (I),” and “Seminar on Hospital-Enterprise Collaboration in Digital Therapeutics (II)” brought together industry professionals through thematic presentations, roundtable discussions, and seminars to assess the development trajectory of digital therapeutics. These initiatives aimed to drive innovative reform and upgrading of the digital therapeutics industry from multiple dimensions and explore new opportunities for industrial growth.
The event brought together distinguished guests from government, industry, academia, research, and healthcare sectors, fostering a vibrant atmosphere for exchange. Government representatives included leaders from the Hainan Provincial Health Commission, Department of Industry and Information Technology, Department of Science and Technology, Healthcare Security Administration, Medical Products Administration, Center for Drug and Medical Device Evaluation and Review, Hainan Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau, and Big Data Administration. Zhang Yuhui, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Hainan Provincial Health Commission, stated at the conference that only by accelerating practical application can we explore effective pathways for digital therapeutics to drive the transformation and upgrading of the health system. Since last year10Month11Since the official release of the "Several Measures for Accelerating the Development of the Digital Therapeutics Industry in Hainan Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Several Measures"), it has attracted attention nationwide and even beyond. Director Yu Hui expressed gratitude to the various departments and bureaus for their strong support of this event, stating that the main objectives of the event are, first, to communicate through discussions to understand the difficulties encountered by all participants in the implementation of policies and to explore solutions, and second, to report on Hainan Province's self-21progress and achievements made since the release of this important document. He stated that Hainan Province has achieved a series of targets set forth in the “Several Measures,” including the selection, review, and final determination of the first batch of20established an experimental center for digital therapeutics, built a public service platform for digital therapeutics, and implemented specialized regional coordination mechanisms and review pathways for digital therapeutics. It was stated that efforts will continue to be made to implement the tasks and measures stipulated in the policy documents, promote the innovative application of digital therapeutics, accelerate the clustered development of digital therapeutics in Hainan, and leverage digital therapeutics as a foundation to drive the digital transformation and upgrading of healthcare in Hainan, enabling it to achieve leapfrog development, so that the public can enjoy comprehensive, full-cycle health services.

Wu Minsheng, Director of the Department of Elderly Health at the Hainan Provincial Health Commission, stated that Hainan will launch a pilot program for digital therapeutics in cognitive rehabilitation for the elderly this year. The implementation plan for the pilot has already been formulated and issued.3This month will launch promotional campaigns for brain health awareness and pilot initiatives, and issue a notice to the industry regarding the call for proposals and selection of solutions for pilot application scenarios of digital therapeutics for cognitive rehabilitation. Looking ahead, China’s 14th Five-Year Plan Outline has designated brain science and brain-inspired research as key priority areas for tackling cutting-edge scientific and technological challenges. Multidisciplinary collaborative efforts will be organized to achieve significant progress in the research and development of diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for elderly brain health.
