VCBeat has learned that the inaugural China Summit on Caring for Adolescent Sexual Development Health grandly opened on March 18 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The summit was hosted by the China Maternal and Child Health Association, organized by the Shanghai Maternal and Child Health Association, and co-organized by Jinqi Medical and Jinqi·New Hongqiao & Henuo Medical Center. This event marked the official launch of a series of public welfare activities, which are now ongoing...

“Cognition is the greatest barrier to health”

This initiative is launched by Jinqi Medical Group and Jinqi·Xin Hongqiao & Henuo Medical Center. Through our public welfare campaigns, we aim to encourage more families to pay attention to adolescent sexual development and care for their physical and psychological well-being. In the face of the global trend of significantly declining fertility rates, we strive to mobilize organizations and individuals across all sectors of society to care for every child, ensuring they grow up with a healthy physique and a sound personality.

More than 500 leaders, experts, and guests from government agencies, health administrative departments, the medical community, and various sectors of society attended the summit in person, while over 70,000 online viewers watched the live broadcast. Participants engaged in collaborative discussions on topics related to “adolescent sexual development health,” exploring ways to implement the Healthy China strategy and safeguard the physical and mental well-being of adolescents.

“Empowering Love with Health”

Adolescent health is the cornerstone of national health, a benchmark for measuring social civilization and progress, a prerequisite for sustainable human development, and an important pillar for achieving the strategic goals of Healthy China.

Abnormal sexual development in adolescents (such as hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, Kallmann syndrome, and Klinefelter syndrome) poses a serious threat to their physical and mental health. Failure to conduct timely screening, diagnosis, and treatment will severely impair their well-being and lead to fertility issues in adulthood, imposing a heavy burden on individuals, families, and society.

Jinqi Medical has been deeply engaged in the field of reproductive health for 16 years, focusing on two areas:

1. Helping More Families Have Healthy Babies: Providing Comprehensive Solutions for Couples Preparing for Pregnancy, Pursuing Eugenics and Optimal Childbearing, and Facing Infertility.

2. Safeguarding Reproductive Health, Unleashing Vitality: Providing comprehensive professional medical services spanning “prevention, healthcare, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation” to enhance quality of life.

Over the past 16 years, Jinqi Medical has helped tens of thousands of families welcome healthy babies. In this process, Jinqi Medical has encountered many families facing infertility issues caused by abnormal sexual development during adolescence.

Based on this, Jinqi Medical has begun to focus on the issue of sexual development health in adolescents, seeking solutions from an early stage and continuously calling for joint attention from all sectors of society.

By launching the public welfare initiative “High-Level Forum on Caring for Adolescent Sexual Development Health,” we aim to raise societal awareness and attention toward abnormalities in adolescent sexual development, strengthen early screening, diagnosis, and treatment of such conditions, jointly safeguard the physical and mental well-being of adolescents, and contribute to the realization of the Healthy China strategic goals.
