On April 30, 2026, Johnson & Johnson announced the appointment of Ryan Koors as Vice President of Investor Relations, effective May 7, 2026. Koors will report directly to Joseph J. Wolk, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Johnson & Johnson.

Wolk commented in the announcement that Koors' appointment "highlights Johnson & Johnson's deep pool of financial talent and its leadership development capabilities across the company." He also noted that Koors' "profound business insights and proven financial expertise" make him the ideal candidate to lead the investor relations function, and he will become an important resource for the investment community to understand Johnson & Johnson's long-term strategy, continued growth, and shareholder value creation.
Looking through Ryan Koors' career, he has accumulated over 20 years of financial management experience within Johnson & Johnson. And it does not stick to a single field, but spans multiple core sectors such as innovative pharmaceuticals, R&D, medical technology, and supply chain.

Just before this appointment,Koors serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for Johnson & Johnson's Global R&D organization, providing strategic and financial leadership to the company's global R&D operations.Earlier,He has served as the Financial Vice President of Medical Technology Surgical Operations and the Financial Vice President of Johnson & Johnson Medical Technology Supply Chain.
Notably, from financial control at the R&D end, to cost and revenue management across the supply chain and specific business lines, to the current role of investor relations presenting Johnson & Johnson's overall story to the capital markets—Koors' resume covers key nodes from internal value creation to external value communication.
A financial leader who understands the R&D investment cycle, supply chain efficiency pressures, and business line profitability models taking over investor relations often signals that the company aims to convey a narrative logic in capital communication that is closer to operational realities and offers a more comprehensive chain perspective.
For industry observers, Johnson & Johnson's consecutive promotions of financial leaders with cross-departmental experience to key investor relations roles also sends a thought-provoking signal. In an era where large healthcare companies increasingly emphasize the alignment of long-term strategy with shareholder value, the role of investor relations as a communication window is shifting from being a mere conveyor of financial data to a comprehensive role capable of supporting capital narratives with business depth.
