Over the past decade, I have been deeply engaged in discipline development and science and technology management at the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, achieving several successful cases in technology transfer and accumulating substantial management expertise.

Over the past seven years, I have overseen the signing of technology transfer contracts with a total value of RMB 150 million. I currently serve as a member of the Translational Medicine Professional Committee of the China Medical Education Association, an executive committee member of the Medical Data Analysis Branch of the Beijing Medical Device Industry Association, and a certified technology broker in Beijing. In 2021, I was honored with the Peking University Advanced Individual Award for Industry-University-Research Management.

Possesses extensive experience in technology commercialization, investment and financing, mergers and acquisitions, and international technology licensing. A graduate of the Health Science Center of Peking University, he engaged in nearly a decade of research at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands, the University of Tennessee, and the Cleveland VA Medical Center in the United States, receiving multiple awards from organizations including the International Brain Research Organization. After obtaining an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in the United States in 2006, he dedicated himself to technology commercialization and investment and financing activities. He led Chinese patent auction initiatives that generated significant international impact and completed a series of domestic and international technology transaction projects. He successfully spearheaded the development of China’s first collective fund trust plan based on intellectual property (IP) pledges, actively exploring IP securitization. Furthermore, he initiated and managed the Zhongguancun International Technology Introduction Investment Fund and the ZJ Fukun Venture Capital Fund, with a total scale of RMB 300 million, successfully investing in a portfolio of technology enterprises including Ciming Health Checkup.

Served as the lead consultant for the equity incentive reform pilot program in Zhongguancun, creatively proposing a public disclosure system for the valuation results of state-owned scientific and technological achievements, which became the standardized procedure for Beijing’s equity incentive pilot initiatives. Led the national public trading initiatives for major scientific and technological achievements under the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as the pilot program for the public trading of military-to-civilian technology transfer under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Based on these efforts, conducted research on mechanisms for the management of state-owned intangible assets. Research and practical experience in the trading of state-owned scientific and technological achievements directly contributed to the enactment of Article 18 of the newly revised Law on Promoting the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements.

Currently serving as the Director of the Technology Transfer Department at Guangzhou International Bio Island Laboratory, he previously held the positions of Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property Trading Center at Beijing Equity Exchange, Vice President of China Technology Exchange, and Deputy General Manager of CAS Innovation Investment Co., Ltd.

Recipient of the Golden Bridge Award for Outstanding Individual; named one of the “Top 10 Influential Figures in Intellectual Property in 2015” by the Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Association; and selected for the “IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists 2016” by IAM, the world’s most authoritative magazine on intellectual property management.
