Surgical Robotics Innovation and Development Forum: Exploring the Present and Future of Domestic Surgical Robots!

Apr 18, 2023 14:17 CST Updated 14:17

The global surgical robot market exceeds $10 billion. As innovative intelligent medical devices, surgical robots can meet patients’ demand for high-quality medical services and help address the worldwide shortage of healthcare resources, thereby attracting significant global attention. Although Chinese-made surgical robots have entered the market as latecomers, their market size remains significantly smaller than those in the United States and the European Union, requiring companies to devote more time to exploration and development.

Hosted by the 7th Future Healthcare Top 100 Conference and supported by CDH VGC, the Surgical Robot Innovation and Development Forum brought together stakeholders from industry, academia, research, and clinical practice to focus on key areas such as vascular intervention, endoscopic surgery, and orthopedic surgical robots. The forum aimed to jointly explore the opportunities and pain points associated with the practical application of domestically produced surgical robots in China.
