Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) is a novel technology that performs sequencing at single-cell resolution. By examining gene expression profiles within individual cells, it enables analyses such as gene expression quantification, functional enrichment, and metabolic pathway characterization on large-scale single-cell mRNA datasets.
Currently, conventional single-cell RNA sequencing typically covers less than 5% of the intracellular mRNA molecules. It can only analyze the relative abundance (i.e., expression level) of mRNA copies for each gene, but cannot determine the relationship between cellular expression clusters and mutations, nor can it elucidate how mutations in individual cells affect their respective expression profiles.
Single-Cell Technology Independently Developed by Zhiyin DongfangFull LengthTranscriptome sequencing enables nearly 100% coverage from the 5’ to 3’ ends, allowing simultaneous analysis of single-cell expression and mutations. By annotating within individual cells,“Mutation + Expression”, map the expression profiles of mutant cells to enable more refined research.
On April 27 at 09:58, Zhiyin Dongfang will unveil its flagship single-cell sequencing product., after four years of R&D accumulation and internal and external technical validation, the sequencing results of the single-cell platform are on par with those of mainstream international platforms, while also being compatible with MGI’s T7 sequencing platform; the core microplates and barcoded beads are independently developed, ensuring that raw material supply is not constrained under any trade circumstances, thereby effectively guaranteeing the smooth and stable operation of projects.
