MediBridge Medical Equipment Intellectual Property Service Platform Officially Launches on April 27, 2023

YiZhiQiao Medical Equipment Intellectual Property Service Platform (hereinafter referred to as the “YiZhiQiao” Platform) is committed to becoming China’s most professional and authoritative full-chain service platform for innovation and commercialization of intellectual property in medical equipment. Its goal is to facilitate research for physicians, streamline the translation of scientific achievements into practical applications, enhance IP protection for healthcare institutions and medical equipment enterprises, and thereby support the high-quality development of China’s medical equipment industry and healthcare sector.

On April 27, 2023, the “Yi Zhi Qiao” platform was officially launched at the 2023 China Medical Equipment Conference.

On April 28, the “Yi Zhi Qiao” platform held its launch event and the signing ceremony for its first batch of partners during the 2023 China Medical Equipment Conference. Leaders from the National Health Commission, the China National Intellectual Property Administration, and the China Association of Medical Equipment (CAME) were invited to deliver speeches. Attendees included Sun Xiaowei, President of the CAME Management Branch; Zhou Li, President of the Nursing Equipment and Materials Branch; Jiang Yong, President of the Stomatological Equipment Technology Professional Committee; Hu Sanyuan, President of the Intelligent Equipment Technology Branch; Yang Xiaopeng, Secretary-General of the Radiological Imaging Equipment Branch; Yang Jing, Director of the Scientific Research Department at the First Hospital of Jilin University; Jin Yan, Director of the Technology Transfer Office in the Scientific Research Department at Peking University People’s Hospital; Gao Jing, President of the Component Business Division and Executive Member of the Intellectual Property Committee at Shanghai United Imaging Healthcare Co., Ltd.; Wang Xi, Deputy General Manager of the China Region at Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co., Ltd.; Bai Yurui, Director of the R&D Department at Beijing Wandong Medical Technology Co., Ltd.; and Piao Jingyu, General Manager of the Smart IoT Management Business Division at Neusoft Hanfeng. On the first day of the platform’s launch, on-site signing ceremonies were conducted with five branches of the China Association of Medical Equipment and four leading domestic medical equipment manufacturers. President Sun Xiaowei and President Gao Jing delivered remarks on behalf of the participating organizations. Media outlets such as Health News and Chongqing Satellite TV covered the launch event and signing ceremony.

The “Yi Zhi Qiao” platform encompasses three major sectors: “Intellectual Property Big Data,” “Research and Medical-Engineering Collaboration,” and “Achievement Transformation.” The “Intellectual Property Big Data” sector provides precise patent search, analysis, monitoring, and forecasting capabilities based on real-world application scenarios. It not only enables practitioners to access patent disclosure information in real time and conduct patent layout strategies, but also assists in pre-application assessment and prediction, thereby helping applicants improve their success rates in patent applications. Aimed at promoting information exchange and sharing among personnel in healthcare institutions, the “Research and Medical-Engineering Collaboration” sector aggregates various innovation resources and services required by frontline clinicians and medical-engineering professionals. To overcome the challenges associated with translating medical research achievements into practical applications, the “Achievement Transformation” sector offers end-to-end services, ranging from achievement incubation, patent application, and selection of high-value patents, to value assessment, project roadshows, matching with implementing enterprises, and investment and financing.
