From June 24 to 26, 2025, the 23rd CPHI China & the 18th PMEC China (CPHI & PMEC China 2025) were held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. During the exhibition, Stevanato Group showcased its EZ-fill® ready-to-use sterilized packaging platform, which is widely applied in the biopharmaceutical field and covers various container formats, including vials, cartridges, and syringes. This platform facilitates the filling process, as containers arrive at pharmaceutical or CDMO facilities pre-washed, depyrogenated, and pre-sterilized, effectively simplifying aseptic production processes, enhancing overall production efficiency, and improving regulatory acceptance.
As GLP-1 therapies rapidly scale up in indications such as type 2 diabetes and obesity, market demand for high-quality injectable packaging systems is increasingly intensifying. Therefore, access to validated technologies, associated delivery solutions, global manufacturing expertise, and regulatory and commercialization know-how is indispensable for supporting pharmaceutical companies’ commercial strategies and enabling efficient, cost-effective market entry.

Stevanato Group also showcased the Nexa Flex™ polymer syringe, compatible with EZ-fill® configurations. This versatile ready-to-use syringe is suitable for both COC and COP materials, featuring high aesthetic quality and breakage resistance. It is ideal for sensitive drugs requiring high container stability and is compatible with most established filling lines.
Finally, Stevanato Group showcased the Alina® pen injector and the Aidaptus® auto-injector, designed for home medication administration and adherence management in patients with chronic diseases. Both platforms combine patient-friendly design with streamlined manufacturing processes.
