Developer of Medical Dedicated Equipment

On May 14, the highly anticipated “aircraft-carrier-level” medical industry event—the 87th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF)—kicked off at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Under the theme “Innovative Technology, Leading the Future with Intelligence,” the exhibition attracted nearly 5,000 brand enterprises. Hisense Medical showcased its technological achievements, including color Doppler ultrasound systems, medical-grade monitors, and digital minimally invasive interventional operating rooms. The company also promoted innovative products such as the Endosmart smart screen and the 32-inch Mini LED medical endoscopic monitor, continuously driving the industry toward greater independence, domestic production, intelligence, and high-end development.

New Pathways for Ultrasound Industry Integration: Pioneering the First Digital Minimally Invasive Interventional Operating Room

At the exhibition, Hisense Medical unveiled its industry-first digital minimally invasive interventional operating room, enabling digital diagnosis and treatment for minimally invasive interventions. Leveraging the advantages of ultrasound equipment and digital operating rooms, this solution integrates digital medical technology, Internet of Things (IoT) technology, video signal processing technology, and automatic control technology. It achieves comprehensive integration of operating room equipment to eliminate “information blind spots,” ensures seamless information connectivity to remove “information silos,” and provides comprehensive and accurate spatial information on lesions.

Specifically, the digital minimally invasive interventional operating room synchronously displays multi-modal imaging signals from ultrasound, CT, and MRI within the operating theater. This enables the performance of more complex and precise ablation procedures under multi-modal image guidance, thereby advancing the technical standards of ablation surgery. Meanwhile, minimally invasive intervention enhances operational efficiency: on one hand, it reduces patient trauma through minimally invasive or non-invasive approaches, shortening the treatment workflow; on the other hand, the fusion of multi-image and multi-modal data makes treatment more precise and convenient. Currently, this solution has gained recognition from directors of interventional ultrasound departments at numerous Grade A tertiary hospitals across China and has attracted extensive attention within the industry.

Empowering Primary Healthcare: Self-Developed Xinlian Remote Ultrasound Enables the Downward Flow of High-Quality Resources

Driven by national policies, the substitution of domestic products for imports is advancing at an unprecedented pace. Hisense Medical has actively responded to these national policies, promoting the localization of medical devices through concrete actions ranging from industrial layout to product premiumization. At the CMEF exhibition, Hisense Medical unveiled its color Doppler ultrasound portfolio for the first time, featuring a comprehensive range of high-, mid-, and low-end models, including the HD60 ultrasound system, to meet the diagnostic and therapeutic needs of healthcare institutions at all levels, from primary care facilities to Grade A tertiary hospitals.

Furthermore, Hisense Medical showcased its Xinlian Remote Ultrasound Platform at CMEF. Independently developed and launched by Hisense Medical, this system is built on internet technology and the clinical application of ultrasound equipment across hospitals at all levels. Primary care sonographers use Hisense ultrasound devices to perform examinations, while remote specialists provide real-time operational guidance and case consultations online. The consultation screen synchronously displays clear, dynamic ultrasound images, delivering an immersive consultation experience. This effectively addresses challenges faced by primary healthcare institutions, including imbalanced medical resource distribution, difficult access to medical care, and high healthcare costs.

Focusing on Clinical Endoscopy Needs: Unveiling Two New Endoscopic Display Products

As the surgeon’s “third eye,” the endoscopic monitor is an indispensable device for minimally invasive interventional procedures. At the new product launch event for medical displays held on the same day, Hisense Medical and Yujin Intelligence jointly unveiled the Endosmart “Smart Screen,” a 4K endoscopic monitor integrated with artificial intelligence technology. By enabling real-time recognition and classification diagnosis during gastrointestinal endoscopy through AI-assisted diagnosis, this innovation truly facilitates precise digital diagnosis and treatment in digestive endoscopy.

At the event, Hisense Medical also prominently launched its mainstream 32-inch Mini LED endoscopic monitor. By applying Mini LED backlight module technology to the field of medical displays, it addresses a key industry pain point in surgical scenarios—where bleeding points in dark fields appear black with poor layering—thus ushering in a new era of high-dynamic-range endoscopic display for the industry.

Yu Jingru, Deputy General Manager of Hisense Medical, stated that Hisense Medical is grounded in China while maintaining a global perspective in the field of medical displays. The company continues to increase its investment in display image quality and provides medical display solutions for top-tier global medical equipment manufacturers. In the future, by continuously launching 4K products based on display technologies such as Mini LED and Micro LED, Hisense Medical is committed to becoming a leader in high-end 4K products and making comprehensive strides in 8K display technology and product development.

As one of the key directions in Hisense Group’s strategic transformation, Hisense Medical adheres to the philosophy of “technology-driven enterprise,” continuously deepening its engagement in the healthcare industry. From its ultrasound portfolio with fully independent intellectual property rights to the Computer-Assisted Surgery (CAS) system, which won the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; from the world’s first Mini-LED endoscopic display to the jointly co-created Endosmart platform—Hisense Medical is advancing industrial layout and product premiumization, thereby facilitating the leapfrog development of domestically produced medical equipment.
