The Translational Science Summit and AMADOR BIOSCIENCE’s 5th Anniversary Celebration, Hosted by AMADOR BIOSCIENCE, Concluded Successfully.

Dr. Wang Bing stated that translational science serves as a bridge linking basic research and clinical practice, and is also key to new drug development. He expressed the hope that this forum would deepen understanding of accelerating clinical translation, and facilitate in-depth discussions on the challenges and opportunities in new drug technology development and clinical translation.

Dr. Shaoli Ming, Distinguished Professor at Fudan University, first shared insights on the challenges and opportunities in China's biomedical innovation.Drawing on multiple datasets, he led attendees through a review of how China’s economic development and evolving national policies have propelled the biopharmaceutical industry to new heights over the past two decades. He emphasized that innovation quality is paramount in the development of innovative drugs, and that fostering innovation requires optimizing the combination of ecosystem elements, strengthening breakthroughs in basic research and their translation, accelerating the restructuring of the industry, and placing greater emphasis on talent.
