Miracle MCG®Pro isThe World's First Liquid-Helium-Free Magnetocardiograph Equipped with a 64-Channel Magnetocardiographic Detector, the new architecture design addresses the technical challenges posed by high-density magnetocardiography (MCG) detection arrays. By innovatively employing an active closed-loop tracking and compensation system to ensure zero crosstalk between detectors, it achieves a globally leading millimeter-level spatial resolution for more refined cardiac magnetic field analysis. Rapid Advancements in Magnetocardiography Technology: The All-Domestic, 64-Channel, Liquid-Helium-Free Miracle MCG®Pro Leads Global Innovation Breakthroughs


Magnetocardiography (MCG) is a non-invasive, radiation-free diagnostic technique for assessing myocardial electrical activity, suitable for a broad population including pregnant women. It does not apply any physical fields to the body; instead, it passively detects magnetic field signals generated by cardiac electrical activity, ensuring a noise-free and contactless examination.


Since magnetic field propagation is not subject to attenuation or interference by human tissues and provides detailed information such as magnitude and direction, it offers advantages over electrocardiographic measurements, including higher sensitivity, absence of signal attenuation, and localization capability. Therefore, it can be used for functional diagnosis and prognostic studies of conditions such as myocardial ischemia, myocardial injury, arrhythmias (particularly ventricular arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, Brugada syndrome, and fetal arrhythmias), and cardiomyopathy.


Since the first measurement of the human cardiac magnetic field in 1962, magnetocardiography (MCG) has evolved for over 60 years. Prior to 2019, the field was dominated by Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) technology. However, its widespread clinical adoption was hindered by several limitations: the need for liquid helium to maintain superconducting temperatures, high costs associated with magnetic shielding, susceptibility to electromagnetic interference in hospital environments without adequate shielding, the requirement for ECG gating, and prolonged measurement times ranging from 5 to 15 minutes. Consequently, SQUID-based MCG was primarily utilized in research settings. Currently, both domestically and internationally, the predominant technology is the 9-channel unshielded superconducting magnetocardiograph.


Liquid-helium-free magnetocardiography (MCG) represents an emerging technological pathway. In 2019, Genetesis, a U.S. technology innovation company, launched an innovative 36-channel liquid-helium-free MCG system based on novel quantum magnetic field measurement technology developed at Princeton University. This system received FDA 510(k) clearance and was twice designated as an FDA Breakthrough Imaging Device in 2020 and 2022. It has been deployed in clinical applications at renowned medical institutions, including the Cleveland Clinic.
