Through research and analysis of practical case studies of Chinese medical device companies going global, we aim to profile the innovative forces within this wave of expansion from a multidimensional industrial perspective, seeking to uncover insights that resonate with the present moment.
On the occasion of the 2023 China Medical Device Global Expansion Conference, VCBeat, VB100, and Eggshell Research Institute jointly initiated“2023 Call for Innovative Case Studies of Chinese Medical Device Companies Going Global”, soliciting and selecting innovative medical device companies with overseas market layouts in China, as well as organizations providing services for the international expansion of medical devices.

This evaluation focuses on assessing the innovations, outstanding strengths, achievements, role divisions and contributions of all participating parties, as well as the significance of the submitted overseas expansion cases for medical device internationalization within the review year.
· Best Strategic Layout Enterprise for Medical Device Global Expansion in 2023
I. Eligible entities must be medical device companies registered within China. Comprehensive healthcare groups whose business segments include the research and development, manufacturing, and sales of medical devices are also eligible to participate.
II. Eligible entities must be planning or have already implemented overseas expansion strategies, including but not limited to exporting medical device products, establishing overseas subsidiaries, acquiring overseas ecosystem companies, and setting up overseas R&D centers.
III. Applicant organizations may, while applying for the 2023 Best Strategic Layout Enterprise for Medical Device Global Expansion, optionally submit supplementary applications based on their overseas business regional distribution.Best Practice Cases for Layout in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific Region.
IV. Applicant organizations applying for the 2023 Best Strategic Layout Enterprise for Medical Device Global Expansion are not required to specify particular overseas strategic layout regions. However, if they choose to additionally apply for the Best Case Study of Strategic Layout in North America, Europe, or the Asia-Pacific region, the submitted case study must pertain to a strategic layout within the corresponding region.

IV. Participating units applying for the 2023 Best Empowerment Service Enterprise for Medical Device Global Expansion are not required to specify a particular type of empowerment service.
