Call for Innovative Case Submissions for the '2023 Report on the Innovative Development of Blood Purification Equipment'

To all relevant entities and individuals:


To gain a more comprehensive insight into the development of China’s blood purification market, the trend of domestic substitution, and the direction of product innovation, as well as to analyze the development opportunities in the blood purification equipment industry and promote transformation within the sector, the Nephrology and Dialysis Professional Committee of the Chinese Non-Public Medical Institutions Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Professional Committee”), in collaboration with the Blood Purification Innovation Sub-Center of the Shanghai High-End Medical Equipment Innovation Center and leading industry enterprises, has decided to jointly develop the Report on Innovative Development of Blood Purification Equipment (2023 Edition), so as to provide reference for the innovative development of blood purification equipment.


To provide an in-depth showcase of the latest trends, technologies, and models in the field of blood purification both domestically and internationally, and to explore the prospects for industry development, the Special Committee is launching the “Call for Innovative Cases in Blood Purification.” Selected cases demonstrating innovation and impact will be featured in this report. For each case adopted, the contributing entity or individual will retain authorship credit, and honoraria will be paid in accordance with publisher standards. We sincerely appreciate your strong support for the development of this report. The submission requirements are hereby notified as follows:


I. Scope of Solicitation


This call for case submissions will focus on the field of blood purification, including:


(1) Innovative blood purification devices: hemodialysis machines, hemoperfusion machines, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) systems, peritoneal dialysis machines, water treatment systems, and central fluid delivery systems;

(II) Innovative consumables for blood purification: hemodialyzers, hemoperfusion cartridges, dialysis tubing, dialysate powder and solutions, and puncture needles, among others;

(3) Innovative consumables for vascular access: artificial blood vessels, balloons, stents, and access protection devices, etc.;

(4) Software systems involved in clinical decision-making: such as AI-assisted diagnosis and integrated hemodialysis monitoring devices.


II. Submission Requirements


(1) Case Content: The submitted cases should feature innovative products from the past five years. Each submission must include the product name and description, product images, key innovation highlights, and clinical advantages, with a particular emphasis on the case’s innovativeness and value in clinical application. The introduction for each innovative case should be approximately 500 words. Cases may involve products currently under development or viable, practical solutions.

(2) Deadline: July 5, 2023.
