On June 17, the 24th National Hospital Construction Conference and International Exhibition on Hospital Construction, Equipment, and Management (hereinafter referred to as CHCC2023) opened at the Western China International Expo City in Chengdu. At the event, Hisense Medical showcased its comprehensive healthcare solutions across various scenarios, including smart operating rooms, color Doppler ultrasound systems, and medical-grade monitors, thereby promoting the informatization, intelligence, and integration of hospital operating room construction. The display attracted significant attention from industry experts and exhibitors.

Scenario Experience: Zero-Distance Interaction in the Smart Operating Room
In the era of the Internet of Things (IoT), operating rooms are evolving from cleanroom construction toward digitalization and integration. Digital perioperative management has become a top priority in healthcare infrastructure development, requiring comprehensive closed-loop perioperative management across hospital departments’ information systems, clinical operations, data, and workflows. Leveraging its technological expertise, Hisense Medical has innovatively launched an integrated Smart Operating Department Solution. This solution encompasses six core systems: the Digital Operating Room System, Intelligent Surgical System, Anesthesia Information Management System, Operating Room Behavior Management System, Narcotic and Psychotropic Drug Management System, and the Operating Department Cockpit. It truly achieves intelligent, integrated platform management for smart operating departments.

At the CHCC2023 exhibition, Hisense Medical showcased the application scenarios and practical effectiveness of its six major smart operating room systems through immersive, scenario-based experiences featuring hands-on demonstrations, tablet interfaces, and voice control. Notably, its digital operating room system features a self-developed embedded multimedia processor based on intra-frame codec technology, enabling full 4K, truly lossless, zero-latency live streaming and surgical teaching, thereby providing medical staff with an "immersive" surgical experience. The system also incorporates tablet-based voice control for flexible operation of basic functions, facilitating teaching interactions and multi-scenario scheduling, thus freeing surgeons' hands.
Intelligent Surgical System leverages the Hisense Computer-Assisted Surgery (CAS) system, utilizing CT and MRI imaging along with artificial intelligence algorithms to automatically generate three-dimensional images of patient-specific organs and lesions. This provides comprehensive guidance throughout the entire surgical cycle—including precise preoperative planning, assisted lesion diagnosis, intraoperative reference, and postoperative evaluation—thereby enhancing surgical precision and efficiency.
The Perioperative Anesthesia Information Management System provides comprehensive intraoperative documentation and perioperative management with a WYSIWYG interface; the Surgical Behavior Management System ensures secure access control, manages surgical attire and footwear, and enables personnel traceability, thereby alleviating operational management burdens in the operating room; the Controlled Substance Management System implements split-control management for narcotic and psychotropic drugs; and the Operating Room Dashboard facilitates intelligent analysis and management of departmental data, offering statistical analysis and visualization of key operating room metrics to enhance closed-loop management and quality control standards.
Smart Empowerment: Intelligent Integrated Platform Management for the Operating Room Department
On the second day of the exhibition, the Frontier Forum on Innovative Development of Smart Hospital Operating Departments was held concurrently. Hisense Medical participated in the forum and delivered a keynote speech on the integrated design and comprehensive solutions for smart operating departments, introducing the iterative roadmap for operating room construction to industry leaders and professionals, and showcasing Hisense’s innovative achievements and practical experience.

Liu Qiang, General Manager of the Smart Healthcare Solutions Division at Hisense Medical, introduced that Hisense’s overall smart operating room solution is built around the entire perioperative workflow, providing comprehensive coverage of 23 functions across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages. Preoperatively, it enables intelligent surgical planning, cloud-based sharing of digital imaging, and intelligent scheduling; intraoperatively, it supports personnel access control, anesthesia recording, intelligent surgical assistance, and surgical teleteaching; postoperatively, it facilitates anesthesia follow-up visits, intelligent postoperative assessment, and management analytics.
Through management via an intelligent integrated platform, Hisense Smart Operating Room not only achieves informatization and intelligent applications within the operating room but also effectively enhances the hospital’s overall informatization level. The system complies with the Level 7 standards of China’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system construction, facilitating medical information control and regional medical information sharing for hospitals.
Currently, Hisense’s smart operating room solutions cover more than 100 Grade A tertiary hospitals across 22 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in China, providing academic and technical support to these institutions. As the lead drafting organization, Hisense Medical also participated in the formulation of the “Construction Standards for Digital Operating Rooms,” promoting standardization and maturity across the industry. Owing to its innovative smart operating room solutions, Hisense Medical was recognized as one of the Top Ten Smart Construction Suppliers at the 11th China Hospital Construction Conference, establishing itself as an industry benchmark in this field.
At the event, Hisense Medical also showcased medical imaging equipment and solutions, including color ultrasound systems, 32-inch Mini LED medical endoscopic displays, and diagnostic monitors. Moving forward, Hisense Medical will remain committed to its high-end product strategy, focusing on hospital scenarios and integrating medical practice with engineering to serve physicians and hospitals through technology, ultimately benefiting patients.
