Recently, the emerging Chinese medical technology company “Genesis” announced that its “ArtiSential Linghu – Multi-Articulated Endoscopic Hand-Controlled Instruments” (hereinafter referred to as “ArtiSential Linghu”) has received market approval from the National Medical Products Administration (Registration Certificate No.: Guo Xie Zhu Jin 20232020274). The product is indicated for use as a single-use surgical instrument during endoscopic procedures: grasping forceps are used for tissue grasping; dissecting forceps for tissue dissection; needle holders for holding suture needles to perform tissue suturing; clip applicators for tissue clipping; and hemostatic forceps for ligation of tissues and blood vessels.

“ArtiSential Linghu,” developed by the South Korean company LivsMed, was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2019. In 2021, Genesis Medical entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with LivsMed to introduce the product to China. “ArtiSential Linghu” has been marketed in South Korea since 2018 and is currently sold and used in numerous countries, including the United States, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Australia, where it has received widespread acclaim from minimally invasive surgeons abroad.
Unlike traditional endoscopic surgical instruments, the working tip of “ArtiSential” can synchronize with the surgeon’s finger and wrist movements, mimicking the function of the human hand to achieve an “extension of both hands” during surgery. The product offers the following clinical advantages:
Full-Angle, Dual-Joint
This product features a dual-joint tip and enables a 360° full-range articulation, assisting surgeons in performing more complex procedures and operations requiring precision in delicate anatomical areas.
Force Feedback, Zero Latency
This product features a fully mechanical structure with 1:1 force feedback transmission, highly restoring the authentic tactile sensation of endoscopic surgery.
Full-Range Personalized Operation Terminal
A total of 13 passive and active working tips are available, with lengths of 25 cm, 38 cm, and 45 cm, as well as optional features such as locking rods and finger adjustment rings, providing a comprehensive instrument solution for clinical needs.
With the product’s approval for market launch in China, minimally invasive surgeons across the country will gain a “new weapon” for surgery, further delivering clinical benefits to patients.
