Today, DotBio, a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to delivering more effective therapies to patients through innovative antibody technologies, announced the completion of its Pre-A financing round, raising tens of millions of yuan. The round was led by Proxima Ventures and Gaorong Capital, with participation from investors including the AIM-HI Accelerator Fund.
The financing proceeds will be used to conduct preclinical studies, including animal efficacy studies and chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC) research, to help validate the potential of candidate therapeutics for advancement into clinical stages. Additionally, the funds will accelerate the expansion and automation of DotBio’s proprietary modular platform, DotBody, which is designed to screen intracellular and extracellular tumor immunotherapy targets from thousands of multifunctional antibody prototypes, identifying those suitable for developing next-generation clinical candidates.

Proxima Capital Partners, the lead investor in this round, is headquartered in Shanghai and focuses on investing in next-generation medical technology companies. Mr. Song Haolin, Partner at Proxima Capital Partners, will serve as a member of the Board of Directors of Duote Bio; he is also an experienced biotechnology entrepreneur. Gaorong Capital specializes in early- and growth-stage investments in new technologies, new consumer sectors, and healthcare. Dr. Le Beilin, Executive Director at Gaorong Capital, will serve as a board observer for Duote Bio. The AIM-HI Accelerator Fund is a U.S.-headquartered global non-profit organization dedicated to advancing technological and therapeutic breakthroughs in oncology.
