Ascon Medical Launches China's First Host-Free, Modular Ultrasonic Surgical Device

Traditional ultrasonic scalpels consist of major components such as the main unit, transducer handpiece, and blade tip. The main unit outputs electrical signals, which are transmitted through the transducer handpiece where piezoelectric effects convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, generating high-frequency vibrations. When the blade tip contacts tissue proteins under high-frequency vibration, it induces cavitation, rapidly vaporizing intracellular water, breaking protein hydrogen bonds, and denaturing proteins into viscous coagulates, thereby achieving tissue cutting, sealing, and hemostasis.

The next-generation host-free ultrasonic scalpel, designed and manufactured by Ansukang, is an iterative product in the industry. Compared with traditional ultrasonic scalpel designs, the Ansukang ultrasonic scalpel adopts a highly integrated design, combining the conventional ultrasonic generator, transducer, handpiece, torque wrench, and other components into a single unit, thereby achieving a host-free ultrasonic scalpel system. Currently,An Sukang has filed 24 patents, including 7 invention patents. Its products are widely used in departments such as general surgery, thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, urology, gynecology, and thyroid and breast surgery.

· The cable exit of the ultrasonic scalpel has been relocated from the rear to the bottom to prevent cable entanglement during surgery, thereby enhancing the surgeon’s user experience and procedural safety.
