As science and technology continue to advance, cutting-edge technologies are playing an increasingly important role in the broader health sector. From initial reliance on empirical experience to the comprehensive integration and application of new technologies—such as digital imaging, big data, surgical robots, remote surgery, and computer-aided diagnosis and treatment—with modern medicine, technology has become the primary driver of innovation, upgrading, and development in the healthcare industry. As one of the fastest-growing disciplines in 21st-century medicine, medical imaging is continuously upgrading and innovating through its integration with cutting-edge technologies. This evolution is shifting the focus from merely “achieving clear visualization” to “ensuring accurate computation,” thereby supporting precise clinical diagnosis and treatment.
According to data from Artery Orange, total financing in the medical imaging sector reached $494 million in 2023, with China being the most active region, accounting for over 67% of the total. Driven by policies encouraging the procurement of domestically produced medical equipment and promoting tiered diagnosis and treatment to decentralize medical resources, alongside the continuous integration of industrial and technological innovations, domestic imaging technologies such as 128-slice CT and below flat-panel detectors, permanent magnet MRI, and PET are continually emerging. The Chinese medical imaging industry has thus embarked on a new chapter of development, transitioning from “introduction and imitation” to “independent innovation.”
However, there is still a certain gap between China's domestic medical imaging industry and its international counterparts. To narrow this gap and ultimately catch up and surpass, it is essential to persist in pursuing independent innovation, open cooperation, and cross-sector win-win collaboration.
To join hands with pioneering forces and innovative entities in driving the high-quality, innovative development of China’s medical imaging sector, showcasing China’s independent innovation capabilities, building an open and collaborative industrial ecosystem, and facilitating cross-sector integration between technology and industry,VCBeatJointEndoscopy Industry AllianceHosted by,Powered by Deep Insight Technology2023 Future Medical Imaging Innovation Forum,From the four perspectives of scientific research, cutting-edge technology, practical application, and integrated collaboration,Focusing on Innovation and Collaboration in Domestically Produced Medical Imaging.Meanwhile, leveraging the integrated conference-and-exhibition ecosystem of the 7th Endoscopy Congress (CCME 2023), we will expand the arenas for innovative integration and collaborative development in academic research, clinical application, and supply services related to medical imaging in fields such as endoscopy and surgical robotics, thereby advancing the strategic goal of domesticating medical devices through innovation, integration, and collaboration.

Centered on hot topics such as China’s independent innovation and development in the new era of the endoscopy industry, innovative advances and practical applications of specialty-specific medical robots, the integration and application of frontier technologies and innovative materials with medical devices, and the cutting-edge innovation and collaborative development of domestically produced medical imaging, we will engage in dialogue to explore future development pathways.
Leveraging the Conference-Exhibition Ecosystem to Support the Upstream and Downstream Collaboration Ecosystem of the Medical Imaging Industry
On-site Super250 unitsNew Technologies/New Products Exhibition Booth, GatheringEndoscopes, medical devices and instruments, medical device CDMOs, polymer materials, chips and semiconductors, lenses and optical processing, and other upstream and downstream ecosystem partners in the medical imaging industry, establish a docking platform for the industrial chain, supply chain, and value chain, and promote ecological circulation and collaborative cooperation.

Structuring the Agenda Around Innovation and Collaboration: Exploring the "New" Through the "Practical"
From the four perspectives of scientific research, technology, application, and development, we have established four thematic sections: Scientific Research Innovation, Technological Innovation, Application Innovation, and Collaborative Innovation. By sharing real-world case studies from pioneering enterprises, we deliver industry solutions and industrial development models that serve as valuable references. Through forward-looking scientific insights and investment trend analyses, we present the understanding and outlook on the breadth and depth of the industry from both the scientists’ and investors’ perspectives. Furthermore, through innovative dialogues between investors and sci-tech entrepreneurs, we highlight China’s collaborative development roadmap and independent innovation path in the medical imaging sector.
