【Pharmaceutical Network Market AnalysisIn recent years, driven by the core advantage of AI technology to significantly improve efficiency and success rates, a wave of collaborations in the global artificial intelligence (AI) pharmaceuticals field has been continuously surging. Since 2026, industry-academia-research cooperation, as well as collaborative innovation partnerships between Chinese and foreign pharmaceutical companies, have been seeing dense implementation.

On May 12, Suzhou Ribo Life Science and Insilico Medicine deepened their strategic alliance. Building on the existing experimental service collaboration based on Insilico's LifeStar 2 lab automation, intelligence, and scalability capabilities, the two parties will further integrate Insilico’s proprietary Pharma.AI platform’s end-to-end R&D capabilities with Ribo’s extensive expertise in small nucleic acid drug development to further enhance the efficiency of small nucleic acid drug research and development.

On May 8, Insilico Medicine partnered with Google Cloud to integrate the Gemini series models into the Pharma.AI platform, reshaping target discovery through a dual-engine approach of "omics + text." This collaboration will accelerate the development of Insilico Medicine's internal AI agent tools and support the advancement of its broader drug development projects.

On May 4, XtalPi and PharmaEngine Inc. achieved significant dual progress in their strategic cooperation; the recruitment of patients with solid tumors for the new generation PRMT5 inhibitor PEP08 has been successfully initiated. Based on the efficiency of this project, the two parties have launched a second AI drug discovery project targeting a novel "synthetic lethality" site.

On April 10, Dong-E E-Jiao partnered with AI pharmaceutical company AilsynBio to leverage AI platforms for exploring the scientific mechanisms of Compound Ejiao Syrup in women's health, promoting the transformation of traditional Chinese medicine from empirical medicine to evidence-based medicine. The two parties will focus on advancing AI-driven innovation, utilizing AilsynBio’s AI drug discovery platform to accelerate biopharmaceutical R&D; conducting specialized research with an in-depth collaboration on the "Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI)" project; fostering cross-disciplinary integration by exploring the convergence of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and traditional Chinese medicine, jointly creating a new paradigm for the greater health industry.

In March, AstraZeneca signed a university-level scientific research cooperation agreement with Tsinghua University and jointly established the "Tsinghua University (Institute for AI Industry)-AstraZeneca Joint Research Center for Artificial Intelligence Drug Discovery". The collaboration focuses on core areas such as AI-driven drug discovery, translational medicine, and clinical development to accelerate the transition of research findings into clinical and practical applications.

In January, XtalPi and Dong-E E-Jiao signed a significant strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties plan to establish a joint venture, deeply integrating XtalPi's AI+RobotThe advantages of the drug discovery platform, combined with Dongyangguang Pharmaceutical’s extensive accumulation in multi-target R&D data, biological insights, and pipeline development experience. Through this collaboration, both parties aim to build a leading AI-driven drug discovery engine in the industry and achieve technology export, establishing a diversified profit model of "pipeline co-creation + technology win-win."
