Huanghe Tech Highlights Role in Advancing the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Innovation Ecosystem at 'Remembering the Mandate, Continuing the Legacy' Event

On the morning of January 17, 2024, the themed event “Keeping in Mind the Entrusted Mission, Continuing to Write a Glorious Chapter” was successfully held at the Binhai-Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park. During the conference, the Tianjin Binhai-Zhongguancun Collaborative Innovation Service Center, part of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Innovation Community, was officially launched; ten high-quality technology enterprises collectively signed agreements to establish their presence in the science park; Tianjin Zhongguancun Industrial Development Co., Ltd. was established; and the “Industry-Academia-Research” Innovation-Driven Alliance of the Bincheng Science and Technology Innovation Zone was officially inaugurated, injecting strong momentum into the development of the science park.

Nearly 200 representatives from the Administrative Committee of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, Zhongguancun Development Group, the Administrative Committee of Huairou Science City, research service and financial institutions, universities and research institutes, and technology innovation enterprises gathered at the Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park. They reviewed past achievements, envisioned future prospects, and joined hands to strive to build the Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park into a leading zone for comprehensive innovation reform in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, a highland for attracting and aggregating global innovation resources, and a demonstration area for the collaborative innovation community in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. In promoting the coordinated development strategy of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, they aim to assume greater missions, demonstrate more significant accomplishments, reach new heights, and make even greater contributions.

This event is jointly hosted by Danhuang Technology, Zhongguancun Development Group, and the Administrative Committee of Tianjin Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park.At the event, Lian Maojun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Binhai New Area Party Committee, attended and delivered opening remarks. Relevant leaders from Beijing Zhongguancun, the China Technology Exchange, Peking Union Medical College, and Beijing Institute of Technology respectively gave keynote speeches. Chen Qiang, Director of the Office of the Tianjin Binhai–Zhongguancun Science Park, presented a report on the development achievements of the Tianjin Binhai–Zhongguancun Science Park.

Officials from the Tianjin Binhai New Area Committee of the Communist Party of China, Zhongguancun Development Group, and Xiong’an New Area, together with enterprises and institutions including the China Technology Exchange, Information Valley Company of Zhongguancun Development Group (Zhongfazhan Group), Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, Zhongguancun Sci-Tech Service Co., Ltd., and Beijing IP, jointly launched the standards for the scientific and technological innovation service system in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. A representative from the Information Valley Company of Zhongguancun Development Group read out an initiative on the construction of the “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Scientific and Technological Innovation System.”

Comrade Hong Shicong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, held a signing ceremony with relevant leaders from Beijing Institute of Technology to jointly establish the Beijing Institute of Technology Laboratory for New Energy and High-Performance Manufacturing, and signed the agreement on the joint establishment of said laboratory.

The head of Tianjin Zhongguancun Science Park Operation Service Co., Ltd. announced the establishment of a joint venture between ZGC Development Group’s Information Valley Company and TEDA Industrial Development Group, along with plans for project construction, followed by a signing ceremony for key projects in the core area of the Bincheng Science and Technology Innovation Zone.

To strengthen industry-academia-research collaboration, promote deep integration among these sectors through partnerships with universities and research institutions, accelerate the translation and application of scientific and technological achievements, and enhance the region’s overall capacity for technological innovation, representatives of alliance member units—including the International Joint Research Institute for Biomedicine, Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Tianjin Academy of Ecological and Environmental Sciences, Peking Union Medical College, the Binhai Petrochemical Industry Research Institute of Liaoning Shihua University, the Binhai Innovation Center of Bohai University, and VBInsight—jointly launched the “Industry-Academia-Research Innovation-Driven Alliance for the Core Area of Binhai Science and Technology Innovation Zone” at this event.
