Hansoh Pharma has been making frequent moves in its commercial management team recently.
Recently, following the joining of former AstraZeneca executive Yan Huaguo, Zhang Chunhai, a senior manager with over 25 years of experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies, has officially joined Hansoh Pharma as the Vice President of the Specialty Business Division.
According to the senior management appointment announcement released by Hansoh Pharma, Mr. Zhang Chunhai will join the company on May 12, 2026, and his workplace will be located in Shanghai. As the Vice President of the Specialty Division, he will be fully responsible for the business operations and team management of this division.
Zhang Chunhai has over 25 years of profound experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and is a seasoned professional with versatile management capabilities. His career spans several top global multinational pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Pharmaceuticals, Novo Nordisk, GlaxoSmithKline (China), and Novartis. During his tenure at these renowned enterprises, he held key management positions such as head of sales, marketing, and business units, gaining extensive industry insights across multiple therapeutic areas.
In terms of academic background, Zhang Chunhai holds a Bachelor of Medicine degree from Lanzhou University and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from Peking University. Notably, he is also a certified Professional Coach (EPC) from the Erickson International Coach Center, which adds a unique professional perspective to his expertise in team management and leadership empowerment.
The recent addition of Zhang Chunhai marks another significant move in Hansoh Pharma's recent adjustments to its senior management team. Just a short while ago, on April 21, Yan Huaguo, former Assistant Vice President of AstraZeneca China and head of the Flying Eagle business, officially left AstraZeneca and subsequently joined Hansoh Pharma as the Vice President of Channel Operations Development and the Metabolic Business Unit.
Hansoh Pharma has made remarkable progress in its innovation transformation in recent years. The 2025 financial report shows that the company's total revenue reached 15 billion yuan, of which the sales of innovative drugs and collaborative products amounted to approximately 12.4 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 30.4%. Excluding collaborative revenue, the sales of innovative drugs accounted for 79.3% of the company’s total pharmaceutical income, a proportion significantly higher than the industry average, highlighting its leading position in the innovative drug sector.
