Lijun Wang boasts over 20 years of comprehensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with nearly 17 years dedicated to gene therapy, viral vector process development, and cGMP manufacturing. As an innovative leader in AAV production process development, he specializes in large-scale cell culture and viral vector purification, and is well-versed in analytical methods. He possesses extensive GMP manufacturing experience with AAV, lentivirus, adenovirus, and oncolytic herpes simplex virus (oHSV), along with a thorough understanding of CMC regulations. He has participated in the design of multiple cGMP production facilities and has successfully led and delivered numerous clinical batches of viral vectors. Gao Jinquan

Life Biosciences, Deputy General Manager and General Manager of the Large Animal Model Development Department


Gao Jinquan graduated from the Institute of Laboratory Animal Science, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He specializes in animal surgery, disease model construction, and pharmacodynamic evaluation. He has successfully established various large-animal disease models, with particular expertise in developing non-human primate (NHP) models of neurological disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer’s disease, spinal cord injury, and stroke. He has provided model development and pharmacodynamic assessment services to numerous CNS drug R&D enterprises. Possessing excellent surgical skills and proficiency in animal experimental techniques, he is well-versed in animal imaging modalities such as B-mode ultrasound, CT, PET-CT, and MRI. He also holds specialized expertise in stereotactic injection into the macaque brain and is proficient in techniques including superovulation, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and cesarean section in macaques. He has participated in multiple national major special projects and disease model R&D initiatives.

Yu Xiaoyu has over 10 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and life sciences industries. From 2012 to 2018, she worked at Hisun Pharmaceutical, where she was responsible for media development, R&D of novel monoclonal antibody drugs, and cell line development. She is well-versed in key upstream biopharmaceutical technologies and possesses in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in critical areas such as cell culture, cell line development, and media development. In 2018, she joined KSBio as a founding team member, leading the R&D of media and cell line products. Currently, she serves as the R&D Director of BioService CGT at LePure Biotechnology, spearheading the development of commercial HEK293 cell lines, culture media, and virus production-related products.

Wang Liyan holds a Master’s degree in Immunology from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences and a Ph.D. in Biology from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. She serves as a committee member of the Cell Research and Therapy Professional Committee under the Chinese Research Hospital Association. With deep expertise in the biopharmaceutical sector, she specializes in the research, development, and manufacturing of upstream raw materials and reagents for cell and gene therapy (CGT). In 2011, she founded Beijing T&L Biotechnology Co.,Ltd., leading her team to establish technical platforms for recombinant protein development, immunomagnetic bead development, and serum-free culture media development, resulting in over one hundred developed products. To date, the company has become an industry-leading provider of comprehensive solutions for key CGT raw materials and reagents. It has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Beijing “Specialized, Refined, Differential, and Innovative” SME, with multiple technological breakthrough projects receiving support from the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Bureau of Economy and Information Technology.

Li Wenxian, with a major in Biological Education, is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Previously, she was an Assistant Researcher at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Fu Rui, who holds a Ph.D. in Physiology, has previously worked at the State Key Laboratory of Stem Cell and Reproductive Biology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Resources Group, and Guodian Pharmaceutical. He has been dedicated to translating stem cell research from fundamental studies into industrial applications. Currently, he is responsible for establishing the stem cell biology platform in Beijing and developing stem cell-based therapeutics.

Currently serving as CEO and Project Lead at Evolution Medicine, he primarily explores the development of cross-species genetic engineering drugs based on RNA regulation. Zhao Xueqiang

Dr. Xueqiang Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Tumor Immunology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, completed his postdoctoral fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, serves as a Research Fellow at Tsinghua University, and is recognized as a High-Level Overseas Talent Expert in Beijing. With nearly 20 years of experience in basic and translational research in tumor immunology, he has published over 30 papers in prestigious international journals such as Nature Medicine, filed more than 30 patents related to CAR-T and TCR-T therapies, and led or participated in over 20 major scientific projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission in the past five years. In 2018, he co-founded Huaxia Yingtai (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. with renowned immunologist Professor Xin Lin. Leveraging its proprietary STAR-T technology platform, the company develops autologous and universal gene-edited T-cell immunotherapy products targeting novel antigens in hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. In September 2022, the company’s first dual-target STAR-T product received implicit clinical trial approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
