Li Yuefeng has been engaged in the research and development of primate experimental animal models and experimental techniques for 11 years. He specializes in advanced techniques such as surgical preparation of cerebral infarction models in monkeys and stereotactic drug administration in experimental monkeys. He is proficient in the preparation and evaluation of various disease models in monkeys, including Parkinson’s disease (PD) models and spinal cord injury models, as well as technical skills such as monkey brain anatomy, arterial indwelling catheter implantation, cerebrospinal fluid collection, cesarean section, and MRI and PET-CT imaging scans. He has participated in multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Provincial Special Support Program, the Municipal Brain Science Project, and provincial-level science and technology programs. He has published 10 SCI-indexed papers and authored one monograph.

Lu Yanyan

Ruizhen Regenerative Medicine, Deputy General Manager

Dr. Luyan Yan, who holds a Ph.D. and completed postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University, previously served as an Assistant Researcher at an institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She specializes in studying the pathogenic mechanisms of neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders, with extensive experience in molecular and cellular research as well as disease modeling. She has published multiple papers in journals such as Cell, Protein & Cell, and Human Molecular Genetics. Since joining Ruizhen Regenerative Medicine, she has been primarily responsible for building the technical platform and managing the development of the clinical pipeline, advancing preclinical studies of neural precursor cell products for Parkinson’s disease treatment and developing iNK-related immuno-oncology cell therapy projects.

Gao Tangxin

Blueprint Medicines, Senior Scientist

Gao Tangxin joined Blueprint Biologics in 2020 as a Senior Scientist. He is responsible for advancing the initiation of all gene therapy pipelines and building the entire R&D team. There are nearly ten pipelines under development, covering multiple fields such as neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases, hematologic disorders, muscular dystrophies, ophthalmic genetic diseases, and oncolytic viruses. Currently, several pipelines have advanced to the clinical trial stage, involving multiple international clinical collaborations. He holds more than ten patents as the first inventor, including those granted and under substantive examination.

Xu Yan

R&D Director at Jide Kangmin, Associate Professor at Jinan University

Xu Yan, Master’s Supervisor and Associate Researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Translation, Jinan University. She has long been engaged in research on the differentiation of Vγ9Vδ2 T cells, their anti-tumor mechanisms and clinical applications, as well as the assessment and detection of immune function in the Chinese population. She has published multiple papers as first author or co-first author in journals such as *Cellular & Molecular Immunology*, *Journal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer*, and *Frontiers*. She has presided over one Young Scientists Fund project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project of the Guangdong Provincial Foundation for Basic and Applied Basic Research, and has been granted one national invention patent.

Liu Dong, Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, currently serves as Quality Director at Xiankangda. He has 11 years of experience in the R&D, production, and quality management of natural products, microbiology, and biologics. He is well-versed in GMP and CNAS regulations and has extensive experience in establishing and implementing quality management systems.

Liu Liping, Quality Director at Guangzhou Weirongte, graduated from China Pharmaceutical University. With 18 years of experience in the chemical and biopharmaceutical industries, she has primarily focused on technology transfer and process improvement for sterile formulations (including water-based injections, lyophilized products, and powder injections), as well as quality management systems across all stages of the product lifecycle, encompassing both R&D and commercial production. In addition to her roles on the client side, she previously worked as a service provider at Lonza Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., where she was involved in the design and quality validation of facility equipment and infrastructure. Wang Lijun

Lijun Wang has over 20 years of comprehensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with nearly 17 years focused on gene therapy, viral vector process development, and cGMP manufacturing. As an innovative leader in AAV process development, he specializes in large-scale cell culture and viral vector purification, possesses expertise in analytical methods, and has extensive GMP manufacturing experience with AAV, lentivirus, adenovirus, and oncolytic herpes simplex virus. Zhou Penghui earned his Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Michigan and completed his postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School. He has been selected as a Young Distinguished Talent under Sun Yat-sen University’s “Hundred Talents Program,” an Overseas High-Level Talent, a Leading Talent in Guangdong Province’s “Pearl River Talent Plan,” and a Leading Talent in China’s “Ten Thousand Talents Program.” Dr. Zhou has long been engaged in translational research on cancer immunotherapy. By systematically investigating the interactions between immune cells and tumors within the solid tumor microenvironment, he has elucidated mechanisms by which solid tumors suppress anti-tumor immune responses, identified novel therapeutic targets, and established highly effective cell therapy technologies for treating solid tumors. Furthermore, by identifying tumor-specific immune cells, particularly T cells that recognize tumor antigens, he has developed personalized TCR-T cell therapies and investigated their underlying mechanisms. Dr. Zhou has completed multiple patent transfers, with some research findings already translated into clinical applications, initiating Phase I clinical trials.

Zhang Yang

Zhang Yang holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Peking University, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of International Business and Economics. He is a candidate for expert at the CITIC Group Think Tank and an expert in the healthcare industry at the Suzhou Branch.
