About Us

NEUROPLUS

The Shenzhen Society for Brain Science was established in 2022, with research institutes, universities, and hospitals in Shenzhen as its founding members. As the primary social organization supporting Shenzhen’s “20+8” future industry initiative on brain science and brain-inspired intelligence, the Society spearheaded the establishment of the “Shenzhen Alliance for Brain Science and Brain-Inspired Intelligence Industry.”

Under the guidance of the Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology and the Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission, the Society and the Alliance adhere to demand-driven original innovation as their guiding principle and follow the path of “sharing, innovation, and service.” They aim to establish an express lane connecting basic research, applied basic research, clinical research, and industrialization in brain science, while building a robust platform for academic and industrial exchange. By integrating global academic and industrial resources in brain science and bringing together research institutes, hospitals, enterprises, professional investment institutions, and brain science companies, they have established a mechanism whereby “end-users pose questions and the scientific community provides answers” since their inception. The organization hosts dozens of global academic and industrial exchange events annually, has facilitated the establishment of over 100 enterprises in Shenzhen, attracted total investment and financing exceeding RMB 1 billion, achieved a total industrial valuation of over RMB 10 billion, and assembled a team of nearly 2,000 high-level academic and technical talents in brain science for Shenzhen. It has already developed core influence in areas such as Party-building leadership, think tank development, project undertaking, branded events, science and technology communication, standards and qualifications, and innovative alliances.
