In her opening address, Professor Lu Zhaoxia, Chairwoman and CEO of Hifly Medical, stated: “Currently, innovations in next-generation technologies are continuously permeating every aspect of healthcare scenarios. Digital technologies are transforming massive volumes of medical data into the driving force for the development of new quality productive forces. The factorization of data has become key to this development and serves as the core focus for achieving high-quality hospital development and building future-ready hospitals.”

Since its establishment in 2019, Hifly Medical has leveraged its technological advantages in the medical Internet of Things (IoMT) sector over the past five years. Rooted in device connectivity, data acquisition, and platform-based support, the company facilitates the digital transformation and upgrading of healthcare through data collection and services. To date, it has independently developed a suite of systems covering IoMT-based emergency care, smart intensive care units (ICUs), smart operating room management, telemedicine, smart dialysis, smart logistics, smart equipment and asset management, and smart medical waste management. These solutions have been implemented and demonstrated as innovative models in numerous Grade A tertiary hospitals and medical groups, including Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, Beijing Anzhen Hospital of Capital Medical University, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, and Liaoning Health Industry Group.

Hifly Medical Unveils New Products at the Grand Event"Smart Hospital Logistics Management System - Digital Twin Edition", supported by a digital twin-based decision-making system, this product offers high data-driven flexibility, enabling rapid adaptation to hospital management needs and reduced operational costs, while achieving high energy efficiency and significantly lowering energy consumption.

Professor Lu stated, “Hifly Medical leverages IoT technology to enable automated collection of medical data and real-time acquisition of real-world data, facilitating intelligent data-driven analysis and applications. This approach achieves comprehensive digital transformation across smart services, smart healthcare, smart management, and smart research.”

As a provider of smart medical IoT solutions, Hifly Medical also served as a co-author in September 2023, jointly releasing the White Paper on the Construction of Future Hospitals in Zhejiang (Version 1.0) under the guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission, in collaboration with the Zhejiang Provincial Health Information Center and more than ten academic teams.

The “White Paper on the Construction of Future Hospitals in Zhejiang (Version 1.0)” proposes a “1-3-5-7” overall architecture for building “Future Hospitals,” wherein the “5” core characteristics are Internet of Everything, Panoramic Intelligence, Digital Twin, Medical Excellence, and Green Humanism. Hifly Medical has consistently leveraged new technologies and ecosystems—such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and big data—to support the high-quality development of hospitals and promote the advancement and construction of Future Hospitals.

Following the conference, Professor Lu accepted an interview with VCBeat and stated, “Corporate development must focus on national strategies and the critical needs of industrial growth. The ‘Future Hospital’ is a systematic engineering endeavor characterized by pioneering innovation and continuous iteration. It not only requires companies to intensify their innovative efforts and collaborate with hospitals on the research, development, and application of innovative products, thereby channeling more high-quality innovative resources to the clinical frontline, but also demands the cultivation of an open, collaborative ecosystem for mutual benefit. Based on international and domestic medical information standards, Hifly Medical has built a medical database that enables secure data sharing across all sectors of the industry. This accelerates the release of data value, drives innovative development in the digital economy within the healthcare sector, and makes greater contributions to advancing the construction of Future Hospitals.”

In the future, the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) will undoubtedly play a more significant role in the development of future hospitals, enabling intelligent healthcare for patients and intelligent management of medical assets. We believe that new-generation information technologies, such as artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing, will inevitably drive the rapid development of future hospitals and write a new chapter in China’s modernization of healthcare.
