On May 18, Harbour BioMed announced the preclinical study data of LET003, the first next-generation monoclonal antibody drug targeting ACVR2A/2B developed using the Hu-mAtrIx™ artificial intelligence platform. The results showed that LET003 has pharmacokinetic characteristics superior to multiple competing molecules; when used in combination with semaglutide, it significantly enhances fat reduction effects and effectively protects lean body mass.
 
On May 13, JiTai Technology officially went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This global offering consisted of approximately 201 million H shares, raising over 2.1 billion Hong Kong dollars. Notably, on its first day of trading, JiTai Technology demonstrated strong market performance, opening at HKD 28.68 per share, a 173.14% increase from the offering price, with a corresponding total market value of approximately HKD 33.054 billion.
 
On May 12, Insilico Medicine announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Ribo Life Science. Building on the existing experimental service collaboration based on Insilico Medicine's LifeStar 2 laboratory automation, intelligence, and scale capabilities, the two parties will further integrate Insilico Medicine’s end-to-end R&D capabilities via its proprietary Pharma.AI platform with Ribo Life Science’s deep expertise in small nucleic acid drug development to further enhance the efficiency of small nucleic acid drug research and development.
 
In mid-May, Zonsen PepLib announced the completion of a Series C financing round exceeding 300 million yuan. The company, with its self-developed Peptide Information Compression Technology (PICT), has built an ultra-large peptide entity library, laid out over 50 innovative drug pipelines, and reached multiple global licensing collaborations with international pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis and Eli Lilly. By early 2026, it had received an upfront payment of nearly 70 million US dollars.

On May 12, Isomorphic Labs, a subsidiary of Alphabet, completed its Series B financing round, raising a total of $2.1 billion. This funding will be used to strengthen its AI-driven drug development pipeline across multiple therapeutic areas. It is reported that the AI platform AlphaFold, developed by Isomorphic Labs, can accurately predict protein structures within minutes, a key step in the drug discovery process.
 
On May 7, Roche announced the acquisition of PathAI, an American AI company specializing in digital pathology and AI technology for pathology laboratories and the biopharmaceutical industry. This acquisition further deepens the partnership between Roche and PathAI, which was first established in 2021 and expanded in 2024 to include the development of AI-assisted diagnostic algorithms.
