On April 25, 2024, the 2024 West China International Dental Exhibition officially kicked off in Chengdu. This year’s exhibition attracted 712 exhibiting companies, covering major segments of the dental industry, including dental materials, orthodontic and implant products, dental imaging, and dental distribution.
Throughout the four-day exhibition, a steady stream of industry exchange activities took place, while companies showcased an impressive array of products. The venue was frequently filled with attendees’ expressions of admiration and the sounds of corporate representatives presenting their offerings.
At Booth H25 in Hall 4, a gray-blue device with a dolphin-inspired streamlined body design attracted the attention of many attendees. This is the Haoyue 2.0 five-in-one CBCT system launched by Nanjing Ruide Medical (hereinafter referred to as “Ruide Medical”).

Founded in 2020, Ruide Medical is a technology-driven enterprise dedicated to the research and development, manufacturing, and sales of high-end medical devices. Leveraging its industry-leading R&D team, Ruide Medical has achieved independent research, development, and production of high-precision components such as cone-beam CT high-voltage generators and detectors, and has secured multiple patents in the fields of medical imaging and digitalization.
The Haoyue 2.0 5-in-1 CBCT system is a flagship product launched by Read Medical, helping the company establish stable partnerships with numerous public hospitals and clinics.
“Judging from this year’s exhibition participation and sales performance, the Haoyue 2.0 five-in-one CBCT has received positive market feedback. This gives us confidence that the Haoyue 2.0 will not only achieve a market breakthrough at the Western China Exhibition but also continue its strong momentum at the upcoming Shanghai and Beijing exhibitions,” said Liu Zhaobo, Marketing Director for West China at Read Medical, in an interview with VCBeat at the exhibition site.
Raydental’s confidence stems from the product strength of its Haoyue 2.0 five-in-one CBCT system.
CBCT features high-resolution 3D imaging, rapid scanning, and low radiation exposure, positioning it at the pinnacle of dental imaging equipment since its inception. In the past, due to its high cost, CBCT was exclusive to a select few public hospitals and well-established clinics. With the recent rise of domestically produced technology and the increasingly mature supply chain, CBCT has become widely adopted in dental medical institutions across China.
In response to the evolving demands of the industry, Ruide Medical’s Haoyue 2.0 CBCT builds upon its predecessor’s all-in-one capabilities (CT, panoramic, and lateral cephalometric imaging) by integrating an intraoral sensor. This allows a single lead-lined room to meet all dental imaging needs. Furthermore, performance has been enhanced: the CT system supports continuous acquisition of 200 scans, with a maximum field of view reaching 18x14 cm.
When asked why the slogan “Born for Pediatric Dentistry” was adopted, Liu Zhaobo stated that as more parents pay increasing attention to their children’s oral health, the hazards of radiation exposure from imaging procedures have also garnered greater concern.
According to authoritative data, the prevalence of malocclusion among children and adolescents in China reached 67.82% in 2000, with an upward trend in incidence. Over the past decade, the caries prevalence rate in primary teeth among the 5-year-old age group in China increased from 66.0% to 71.9%, while the caries prevalence rate in permanent teeth among the 12-year-old age group rose from 28.9% to 38.5%.
“Children are two to three times more sensitive to radiation than adults. If imaging is performed using the ‘customary’ adult standards, it poses significant hidden risks to their growth and development. However, Haoyue 2.0 can acquire diagnostically effective images at dose levels as low as 90 kV–4 mA for adults and 70 kV–2 mA for children,” introduced Liu Zhaobo. The low-dose imaging capability of the Haoyue 2.0 all-in-one CBCT demonstrates greater care for children’s health while remaining equally suitable for adult patients.
However, it is important to emphasize that a reduction in radiation dose does not necessarily compromise imaging quality. According to Liu Zhaobo, the Haoyue 2.0 5-in-1 CBCT employs pulsed exposure and single-scan non-stitching imaging technology. When combined with Rayden Medical’s proprietary Ldirara (LDira reconstruction algorithm) AI suite—which includes low-dose imaging, motion artifact compensation, metal artifact reduction, beam hardening correction, wavelet total variation denoising, dynamic focusing, and clean field-of-view algorithms—it achieves high-quality imaging even at reduced radiation doses.

Furthermore, the Haoyue 2.0 5-in-1 CBCT is equipped with an integrated sliding seat that allows for free sliding and height adjustment. The unit supports multiple lifting mechanisms, including height-adaptive elevation, independent lateral positioning, and intelligent voice-controlled adjustment. Its adaptive head clamp features pressure-adaptive contraction and automatically relaxes upon completion of the scan. The intelligent electric chin rest offers a lifting precision of 0.1 mm, enabling precise locking of the imaging position. Additionally, the equipped motion detection system effectively reduces motion artifacts, thereby avoiding unnecessary radiation exposure caused by invalid or repeated scans.
Haoyue 2.0 All-in-One CBCT can also send customized greetings and supports the automatic playback of gentle children's music during pediatric imaging, helping to alleviate patient tension and anxiety to some extent.
In addition to hardware design, the intelligent software showcased at the Read Medical exhibition booth is also a major highlight of the Haoyue 2.0 5-in-1 CBCT.
“Digitalization and intelligence have become a consensus for development in the dental healthcare industry,” introduced Liu Zhaobo. In response, Read Medical, building upon its proprietary underlying framework and integrating the latest AI technologies, has developed the “Zhiying” post-processing software and the “Huiying” orthodontic software, thereby further advancing the exploration of intelligent solutions in dental diagnosis and treatment.

Ruide Medical Staff Demonstrate Ruide Medical’s Intelligent Software System to Exhibition Attendees
Specifically, Ruide Medical’s intelligent software can automatically map the bilateral mandibular nerve canals, analyze the bilateral temporomandibular joints (TMJ), measure regional bone mineral density, and automatically place landmarks to generate reports. It also features integrated pre- and post-operative comparison, AI-driven precise dental arch line delineation, and multi-planar simulated implant placement, thereby fully revealing pathological lesions and assisting clinicians in rapidly and effectively formulating treatment plans.
Furthermore, the software supports one-click QR code scanning to retrieve various reports, including radiographic images and bone age analysis, frontal and lateral facial profile analysis, and panoramic analysis. This further enhances the efficiency and convenience of diagnosis and treatment, fosters positive communication between doctors and patients, and facilitates the rapid establishment of trust in the doctor-patient relationship.
Overall, the powerful combination of Raydental Medical 2.0’s all-in-one CBCT hardware and intelligent software not only better meets the needs of oral diagnosis but also enhances clinic efficiency, allowing more patients to experience higher-quality dental care.
In the future, Read Medical’s reflections and innovations in dental diagnosis and treatment will clearly not be confined to the Western China International Dental Exhibition. Instead, the company will continue to uphold its original mission of “Sharing Technology, Enhancing Health,” and through its actions and perseverance, consistently deliver higher-quality, systematic solutions to the dental industry.
