To showcase and promote the latest advancements in neuroscience research and applications, foster exchange and collaboration in the field of neuroscience, and drive the development of the health industry“Government, Industry, Academia, Research, Application, and Finance”Deep Integration: The Beijing Society for Neuroscience, the Beijing Mobile Internet Health Service Association, and the China Private Science and Technology Promotion Association will jointly host the “Health Industry Innovation Summit—2024 Exhibition of Technological Innovations in Neurology and Psychiatry” on August 25, 2024. Event Details

1. Project Promotion

We are broadly soliciting innovative achievements in the fields of neurology and psychiatry from both domestic and international sources. All eligible submissions will be prioritized for inclusion in the technology transfer resource pools of the Beijing Neuroscience Society and the Beijing Mobile Internet Health Service Association. These projects will receive extensive publicity and promotion, with support provided for technology commercialization, investment, and the implementation of collaborative partnerships.

2. Top 10 Innovations in Neuropsychiatry, 2024

Leading academic and industry experts in the field of neuropsychiatry across China were invited to evaluate the submitted projects according to established review criteria. The evaluation was conducted across three categories: New Discoveries, New Technologies, and New Products (for specific classification details, please refer to the project submission guidelines). Ten outstanding projects from each category were selected for inclusion in the “2024 Top 10 Innovative Achievements in Neuropsychiatric Medicine.”

3. Project Pitch

The projects selected for the “Top 10 Innovative Achievements in Neuropsychiatry 2024” were presented via live roadshow at the “Health Industry Innovation Summit—2024 Showcase of Technological Innovations in Neuropsychiatry,” held on August 25, 2024.

4. Project Services

The event organizer provides the following follow-up services to the projects selected for the “Top 10 Innovative Achievements in Neuropsychiatry 2024.”

（1）Priority is given to participating in the application process for the 2024 “Private Science and Technology Development Contribution Award” organized by the China Association for Promotion of Private Science and Technology. The “Private Science and Technology Development Contribution Award” is a national science and technology award established by non-governmental forces, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China and the National Office for Science and Technology Awards (Registration No. 0080 for Social Force-Established Science and Technology Awards), and evaluated by the China Association for Promotion of Private Science and Technology. It serves as a foundational award equivalent to the Second Class Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and holds the qualification to nominate candidates for the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The “Private Science and Technology Development Contribution Award” includes categories such as the “Science and Technology Progress Award,” the “Outstanding Private Science and Technology Enterprise Award,” and the “Scientific and Technological Innovation Award.”

(2) Provide professional investment and financing services to meet the needs of different project development stages. Assist in connecting with suitable investment and financing channels.

(3) Engage with large-scale marketing enterprises to rapidly facilitate project collaboration negotiations, thereby driving the R&D, production, and market commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.

(4) Establish a dedicated exhibition area for health technology innovation achievements within the Innovation Center to provide long-term, efficient services for exchange, communication, and display. Accelerate targeted services including successful commercialization, project collaboration, investment and financing, policy consultation, and intellectual property agency.

Call for Project Submissions

1. Project Requirements

This call for submissions is exclusively seeking new discoveries, new technologies, and new products in the field of neuropsychiatry, specifically:

New Discoveries: New theories, perspectives, mechanisms, and methods in basic theoretical research with potential clinical application or market value.

New Technologies: Innovative technologies applied in pharmaceuticals, medical and health devices, medical consumables, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, related software, and other areas.

New Products: Includes innovative products such as drugs, medical and health devices, medical consumables, and diagnostic reagents that have been launched on the market recently (within the past year) or already have pilot-scale samples.

Submitted projects must possess unique innovativeness, demonstrate strong clinical and market value, comply with relevant national laws, regulations, and policies, refrain from infringing upon the intellectual property rights and other legitimate interests of others, and ensure that all project information is truthful and accurate.
