Over 200 Speakers Confirmed and 1,000+ Attendees Registered for the 13th China Rare Diseases Summit 2024

September 6-8, 2024 The 13th China Rare Disease Summit Forumwill be held in Shanghai. This conference is jointly organized by the Cord Rare Disease Center and Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, with“Rare Paths, Side by Side: Building Dreams, Moving Forward”as the theme, aiming to establish an authoritative and representative platform for exchange and cooperation. The conference will bring together over 200 speakers, more than 400 patients, 40 media outlets, over 50 companies, and more than 1,000 attendees for in-person participation.

Launched in 2012, the forum has successfully held twelve sessions to date. As the earliest-established, largest-scale, and most influential comprehensive forum in China’s rare disease field, the conference will host 18 sub-forums focusing on themes such as rare disease legislation and policy, diagnosis, treatment and prevention, drug innovation and R&D, medical insurance and commercial insurance implementation, diagnostic technologies and applications, cell and gene therapy, collaborative diagnosis and treatment models, and the construction of a patient-centered healthcare ecosystem. In addition, the event will feature one “Golden Snail Award” ceremony, one concert, two satellite symposia, five thematic sessions, and six patient support group meetings.
