According to literature such as the “Meta-analysis of the Prevalence of Cerebral Palsy in Children Aged 0–6 Years in China,” the “Expert Consensus on Quality Control Management of Pediatric Rehabilitation in China,” and the “Epidemiological Characteristics of Pediatric Cerebral Palsy in Twelve Provinces and Cities of China,” the international prevalence of cerebral palsy in children is 0.20%–0.35%. There are currently 6 million individuals with cerebral palsy in China, with 40,000–50,000 new cases added annually. Given that 40% of children with cerebral palsy are unable to walk independently, traditional gait training therapies often fail to achieve optimal outcomes; furthermore, the lack of effective, specialized assistive devices increases the difficulty of implementing early walking interventions for pediatric patients.
